What to prepare

The special soul stone depends on the level of the boss you are targeting, and you need the key to the dungeon you choose. Special soul stones are traded and crafted in batches.

The 6 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Peltifera

   Dialogue[-13,-29] · Peltifera

   In the Kolossium, go straight to the second room and talk to Peltifera. She asks you to craft a special soul stone at her workbench, right next to her.

   1. “Grumble that they are more likely adventurers complaining about not having enough pebbles.”

   The workbench can be used only with the quest in progress.

   

2. 2Craft the special soul stone

   Crafting[-13,-29]

   At the workbench, craft the special soul stone matching the level of the boss you want to fight: the higher the boss's level, the bigger the reward. Small (20 to 40): 1 Mother of Pearl and 2 Wood Pandawushu Artefact. Average (50 to 90): 1 Emerald and 2 Water Pandawushu Artefact. Big (100 to 140): 1 Topaz and 2 Rock Pandawushu Artefact. Huge (150 to 190): 1 Aquamarine and 2 Wind Pandawushu Artefact. Gigantic (200): 1 Ruby, 1 Sapphire and 2 Fire Pandawushu Artefact.

3. 3Craft the boss's soul stone

   Crafting[-13,-29]

   Combine 1 special soul stone of the right level and 1 key to the dungeon you want to do. The boss's soul stone goes into your quest inventory; it is bound to your character.

   Each boss soul stone can be crafted only once per character: each dungeon can therefore only be done once. Each character must craft their own.

4. 4Use the soul stone

   Use the soul stone from your quest items to get the corresponding alteration. You can do this before the dungeon: the alteration stays active until the boss is defeated, even after a defeat. All the characters doing the quest must use it.

   If you cannot defeat the boss, Peltifera can remove the alteration, but the soul stone you used is not refunded.

5. 5Defeat the dungeon boss

   Combat

   Do the dungeon matching your soul stone and defeat the boss with the alteration active. You get the boss's enraged soul in your quest inventory.

6. 6Bring the full stone back to Peltifera

   Items[-13,-29] · Peltifera

   Go back to the Kolossium. Peltifera gives you Counterfeit Kolossokens depending on the boss's level, to spend in her special shop.

The rewards

The number of Counterfeit Kolossokens depends on the boss's level: 1 up to level 50, 2 from 60 to 100, 4 from 110 to 140, 8 from 150 to 190, and 12 at level 200.

Related quests

The quest is instantly repeatable, as many times as you like, as long as you have dungeons left to do. Counterfeit Kolossokens are spent in Peltifera's special shop.

No. Each boss soul stone can only be crafted once per character.

What happens if you lose against the boss?

You keep the alteration. Peltifera can remove it, but the soul stone you used is not refunded.

From 1 to 12, depending on the boss's level: 12 for a level 200 boss.
