Two dungeons to finish, King Dazahk's Brewery and Klime's Private Suite, and provisions for Readrune the Blind. Also finish Brikkr-a-Brokkr: without it, the quest gets stuck.

The 21 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Meriana

   Dialogue[-6,-3] · Meriana

   The quest starts with Meriana, following A Painful Separation. With Crocoburio's soul, you have something to bargain with Grougalorasalar, but his island is unknown to all sailors. A teleportation portal leads there: it is guarded by Nimbos, whose agreement you must obtain.

   

2. 2Enter the Kingdom of Freezammer

   Movement[-70,-71]

   Go to the Kingdom of Freezammer and enter through the main gate.

3. 3Defeat Dazahk Freezammer

   Combat[-62,-70]

   Do the King Dazahk's Brewery dungeon and defeat King Dazahk: that is how you show him you are not his enemy.

   To continue, you must have finished Brikkr-a-Brokkr, or at least have reached the step where you must meet Dazahk.

4. 4Question Dazahk Freezammer

   Dialogue[-62,-70] · Dazahk Freezammer

   After the dungeon, talk to Dazahk Freezammer. The portal that allowed the Crocodyls to invade Amakna is guarded by the Yerg clan, led by Queen Tressa. He advises offering her a bag made from a very old Crocodyl skin, which he gives you if you have finished Brikkr-a-Brokkr, and finding Readrune to locate the portal.

   Two things to do next, in the order you like: find a sorceress, Readrune, and a cobbler, Klime.

5. 5Meet Readrune the Blind

   Dialogue[-63,-75] · Readrune the Blind

   In the Bearbarians' hive, follow the path as if heading to the dungeon: you come across Readrune the Blind. The sorceress already knows everything about you: in exchange for provisions, she will give you the means to see the Nimbos portal.

   

6. 6Exchange the Snowdrops for soups

   Items[-65,-72] · Bor Daine

   Go back to the Kingdom of Freezammer and talk to Bor Daine: he exchanges 20 Snowdrop for two Bor Daine's Pebble Soup.

7. 7Buy 5 Barbeerd

   Items[-70,-69]

   Barbeerds are bought at the Nimbos tavern for 5,000 kamas, if you have finished The Beard at the End of the Krosmoz. Otherwise, ask someone to buy them for you, or go through the auction house.

8. 8Give the provisions to Readrune

   Items[-63,-75] · Readrune the Blind

   Go back to the Bearbarians' hive and give the provisions to Readrune the Blind. She hands you a Readrune's Barbeerd, which will make you see life differently, and the Nimbos portal along with it.

9. 9Defeat Klime

   Combat[-63,-93]

   The cobbler able to work a frozen crocodyl skin is Klime. Do his dungeon, Klime's Private Suite, and defeat him.

10. 10Have Klime make the bag

    After the dungeon, talk to Klime. You have to threaten him a little for him to agree to make the bag for you.

11. 11Make the swamp gates appear

    Go to [-6,3] ; from Meriana, the path is down, right, down, down, left, down, left, down, down, right. Stand in the middle of the map and use Readrune's Barbeerd from your quest inventory: you are transformed into a Nimbos, and a portal appears.

    

12. 12Go through the swamp gates

    Take the portal. Once teleported, go to the right.

13. 13Convince the sentinels

    Dialogue · Yerg Sentinel

    Talk to one of the Yerg Sentinels: she wonders why you look like a Nimbos. Return to your normal appearance and talk to her again. She first refuses to let a stranger through, then gives in when you show her part of the gift for the queen.

14. 14Talk to the Yerg Captain

    In the fort, explain to the Yerg Captain what you have come to do: he invites you to enter the tavern, right in front of you.

    

15. 15Meet Queen Tressa

    Dialogue[-86,13] · Tressa Yerg

    In the tavern, offer the bag to Tressa Yerg in exchange for her help to enter the territory of the Crocodyls of the Archipel des Écailles. Confess your intentions to her: she agrees to provide you with a guide to cross the mangrove.

16. 16Leave with the guide

    [-87,13] · Yerg Guide

    Go back to the fort gate and talk to the Yerg Guide: he asks you to smear yourself with an ointment against little moskitos, then takes you into the Devouring Jungle.

    

17. 17Cross the Devouring Jungle

    Combat

    Cross 4 maps: up, right, up, right. On each one, groups of Giant Moskitos and Famished Greedovores may attack you; the fights can be done with a group.

    Before going further, check that you have 1 Bloodthirsty Larvae, which drops from the Giant Moskitos (25% base). If not, go back to the previous map and talk to the Moskitos to fight them.

18. 18Cross the city of Tikoltenak

    Combat

    Get through 3 maps guarded by Crocodyls without them seeing you: walk cell by cell, as far from them as possible, because they attack from one cell away. If you do not walk cell by cell, you are drawn toward them and attacked.

    If you are attacked, the fight pits you against 2 Crocodyl Warriors and can be done with a group.

19. 19Enter the temple

    Combat[-82,7]

    In front of the temple entrance, click the bowl filled with blood, on the left: you must have the Bloodthirsty Larvae. The guards are attacked by Giant Moskitos and you pass freely. Go up the stairs: two Crocodyl Warriors attack you, fight possible with a group.

    In each room of the temple, you risk being attacked.

20. 20Explore the temple

    Continue through the temple by going up one map, then take the stairs: you are now in front of the black dragon.

    

21. 21Talk to Grougalorasalar

    Dialogue[-82,6] · Grougalorasalar

    Ignore his threats and propose a deal: Crocoburio is locked up again in the sword Crocobur, in exchange for the Ebony Dofus. The dragon wants his son in front of him, in the flesh, to entrust you with his Dofus. A distant sound whispers your name: the quest ends.
