If you pick the wrong hole, you go back to the mine entrance.

  4. 4Free Cornelia Granpa

    Dialogue · Cornelia Granpa

Cornelia Granpa is held by a bramble prison: you have to help her escape. A fight starts, which can be done in a group. The map is instanced for the quest: only players at the same step as you can join you.

    Dialogue

    1. “Tackle the root of the problem”

The Prison Bramble spell summons brambles all around you: they remove 100 MP if they start their turn in contact with you. Gnarled Embrace hits for 250 Earth, Insidious Bramble for 250 Air with 2 MP removed, Binding Brambles for 300 Fire in a cross, Exasperation for 250 Water with 2 dodgeable AP removed. Sylvan Manipulation heals 1,300 and gives 200 power in a 3×3 square, Cage Restoration heals the brambles for 255 HP.

  5. 5Meet Cornelia at the mine entrance

    · Cornelia Granpa

After the fight, talk to Cornelia again, who asks you to meet her outside. At the mine entrance, she tells you about the black egg that the Ancestral Treechnid had tasked you with retrieving: he has parted with it, and Cornelia is trying to get it back. Its new owner, hooded and covered in frost, is said to come from Frigost.

  6. 6Join Cornelia in Frigost

    Movement · Cornelia Granpa

Cross the Antinau Sea to the docks of Permafrost Port. Captain Ardier carried a mute traveler with a telling smell, that of the egg according to Cornelia, and Kaw senses its presence in the Lonesome Pine Trails.

The fights

Wave fight at . Wave 1: 6,500 HP, threshold at 975 HP. Waves 2 and 3: 4,875 HP, threshold at 731 HP. At the threshold, the chosen one becomes invulnerable, loses 13 AP, gains 5 MP and dies at the end of its next turn. At around 50% of its HP, it gains the Offering to Death state (skull on a gray background). Each line of Fire damage makes it hit for 300 in Fire around it, allies and enemies alike, on the next turn. Volley of Feathers, Cornelia's spell, can only be cast on a chosen one in Offering to Death: it pushes it back, removes MP from it, hits for about 1,500 to 2,000 in Air and gives about 2,000 DB to your allies for 1 turn.

  • Fungal Combustible

Cast from the very start: sets the HP threshold. Each line of Fire damage received makes it lose 8% of its HP in Neutral and hit for 300 in Fire, in a square of size 1, on its next turn.

  • Acrosporadic

Black glyph of radius 3 for 2 turns, a single one for all the chosen ones: Unlockable state, heal of about 1,200 HP if one ends its turn there, and 100% of ranged damage reflected.

  • Clikheart

Hits for 250 Air as life steal, up to 5 range.

  • Asporation

Pulls 1 cell and hits for 250 Water, in a line up to 6 range.

  • Clikheart's Cry

In Offering to Death: goes into melee and explodes, about 20% of the target's HP in Neutral (1,400 for example), and 50% less healing received for 1 turn.

Infected Bloater

Infected Bloater

Level 180

Arrives at wave 2, Unmovable. Hit with Fire on the previous turn, it no longer protects itself, loses its Unmovable state and takes 20% more damage for 1 turn, but gains 4 MP. Each turn, it places 2 Mykotoxyk Sacs of 920 HP: their purple glyph of radius 3 removes 4 MP as long as you stay in it. A Fire hit makes a sac explode.

  • Fungal Crust

1,000 DB for 1 turn, cast twice: 2,000 DB each turn.

  • Mychologation

Hits for 600 Water in the sacs' glyphs. The ally closest to the target gains 1 MP, 4 range and 200 power; the chosen ones pull it 3 cells and Clikheart adds an Earth poison of 200 for 2 turns.

  • Mykotoxyk Sac

Summons two sacs up to 10 range, removed and replaced each turn.

  • Mykotoxyk Outpouring

Removes its bags: 450 DB for 2 turns to the chosen ones standing in their glyphs.

  • Corbycepts

Hits for 300 Earth and removes 1 turn from effects, in melee.
