The 13 quest steps

  1. 1Talk to the Worried Lionodas

    Dialogue · Worried Lionodas

The craftsman is looking for his apprentice, who is getting more and more unruly. He doesn't think he has left the village: what remains is the Challenge Circle to the west, the leaders' dwellings to the north, and the Pariah Promontory, a forbidden place.

  2. 2Inspect the broken statue

At the Pariah Promontory, inspect the Rock Block on the left. A scroll there presents Osamandyas as the King of Kings, a very powerful Rhoarim.

  3. 3Talk with the runaway

    Dialogue · Daring Young Lionodas

The Daring Young Lionodas refuses to go home. To him, the king is weak and the Pariah was a true warrior: his father may have put these ideas in his head.

  4. 4Explain yourself to the Royal Guard

    · Royal Guard

The Royal Guard arrives and the youth runs away. Explain the situation: the guard gives you the father's name, a hunter who lives in the southernmost house of the village, and lets you investigate discreetly, since the cult of the Pariah is forbidden.

  5. 5Find the young Lionodas's father

    · Menalion

Talk to Menalion and introduce yourself. His son interrupts you, tries to claw you and runs off into the tent. Talk to Menalion again: he admits his interest in the Rhoarim's past and sends you to the hermit of the fang, keeper of the horde's tales.

  6. 6Question Hemyt the Hermit

    Dialogue · Hemyt the Hermit

Go to the fang-shaped cave. According to tradition, Hemyt can only tell the story of the Pariah with the agreement of the three Rhoarim leaders: bring her an item from each of them.

    Dialogue

    1. “Request her knowledge about the Pariah”
  7. 7Get Sekismeth's Fur

    Items · Shaman Sekismeth

You are teleported right in front of Shaman Sekismeth's tent. She agrees to have the story of the Pariah told to you and gives you a piece of her fur.

    • Icon of Sekismeth's FurSekismeth's Furreceived
  8. 8Check the Ripper's Hair

The Ripper's Hair drops at 100% from the Ripper, in The Ripper's Altar dungeon, the first time you complete it. No need to redo the dungeon: you did it during Remarkable Guest, so the hair should already be in your inventory.

  9. 9Get Lheoden's Mane

    Items · King Lheoden

In the royal hut, talk to King Lheoden. Grimaslan objects to the story being revealed to you, but the king reminds him that the horde owes you a great deal. He tells how he challenged his predecessor, an admirer of Osamandyas, and gives you a piece of his mane.

  10. 10Bring the offerings back to Hemyt

    Items · Hemyt the Hermit

Give the three offerings to Hemyt the Hermit. She tells you the myth of the first king: Osamandyas united the horde, then wanted to seize Gargandyas's power to equal a god, before Osamodas destroyed everything he had built.

    Dialogue

    • Icon of Sekismeth's Fur1 × Sekismeth's Furto hand over

  11. 11Listen to Grimaslan

    Dialogue · Grimaslan

Grimaslan appears: back when he wasn't himself, he hinted to Menalion that he would make a good king. Having come back to apologize, he found him irritated, distrustful and violent. He asks you to help Menalion the way you helped him.

  12. 12Face the King of Kings

    Combat · Menalion

Go back to the Pariah Promontory and talk to Menalion. He wants to guide his people out of the dimension, then the Pariah's spirit takes control of his body. The fight starts, and it is done solo.

    Dialogue
