Totankama's Treasure

What to prepare

Three resources come from three other quests, and the tablet requires 25 Archaeological Treasures. The treasures are quest items and the tablet pieces are account-bound: you can't buy them from a player or at the auction house.

The 11 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Minotot

   Dialogue[-39,-11] · Minotot

   The Crimson Dofus is the Egg of Ignemikhal, the fire dragon. The Minotot agrees to give it to you in exchange for Totankama's Mask, which you get by gathering 5 fragments of Totankama's tablet. When you leave the dungeon, a tofu starts following you.

2. 2Tell Meriana about your encounter

   Dialogue[-6,-3] · Meriana

   Tell Meriana about your encounter with the Minotot. To protect you from Totankama's curse, she requires three resources, each obtained in a different quest: the Golden Milk Pearl (Whip While the Cream's Hot), the Infiniwing Powder (Infiniwing Regrets) and Tot's Ring (Tot's Ring).

   

3. 3Gather 25 Archaeological Treasures

   Items

   Two methods, which can be combined. The Archaeological Treasure Hunt quest gives a chest with 5 Archaeological Treasure, once a day (resets at 7:00). Each level 120 to 130 boss defeated in its dungeon gives 1, with no limit, but not in the arena: Royal Rainbow Blop, Captain Scarlight, Crocabulia, El Piko, Fraktal, Cross Strich, Minotoror, Nagate, Royal Mastogob, Skeunk, Tanukouï San and Royal Tofu.

   Once all the pieces are bought, the bosses no longer drop treasures. Extra treasures, earned in hunts, can be exchanged for a Volatile Destinos Incantation, which turns you into a Tofu.

4. 4Buy the 5 tablet pieces

   Items[-24,-36] · Ener Brelloq

   In the room on the right of the Treasure Chest, Ener Brelloq sells each Totankama Tablet Piece, from 1/5 to 5/5, for 5 Archaeological Treasure.

   You must have completed How to Get Plucked to be able to buy them.

5. 5Assemble Totankama's Tablet

   In the central room, use the lectern to assemble the 5 pieces into a Totankama's Tablet.

6. 6Show the tablet to Nova

   Items[-25,-36] · Nova

   The tablet will guide you to the mask, but Nova warns you: protect yourself from the curse first.

7. 7Protect yourself from the curse

   Movement[-6,-3] · Meriana

   Show the three resources to Meriana. If you have already given them to her, move on. After a strange ritual, she locks your items in a bag: click the rock outside to bury it.

8. 8Start the Totankama's Treasure hunt

   [-25,-36]

   Return to the Treasure Chest and start the legendary hunt with the tablet: choose to hunt Totankama's Treasure.

9. 9Defeat Mummy Nova

   Combat

   At the end of the hunt, face Mummy Nova. The fight can be done with several players, and her map changes from one player to another. You win a Totankama's Chest: open it to get the Totankama's Cursed Mask and a few sand roses.

10. 10Give the mask to the Minotot

    Items[-39,-11] · Minotot

    Go to [-42,-17] and talk to Lorkos to access the Minotot's room. Show him the mask and hand it over: he leads you to the Crimson Dofus.

11. 11Take the Crimson Dofus

    [-39,-11]

    In the Crimson Dofus room, take the Dofus sitting on its pedestal. It's a trap: the quest ends and the fight that follows is part of the next quest, Wayward Soul.

Next to Minotot, in the Minotoror dungeon at [-39,-11]. You must have completed Taurs and Detours.

How do you get Totankama's Tablet?

By assembling 5 pieces at the lectern of the Treasure Chest. Ener Brelloq, in [-24,-36], sells each piece for 5 Archaeological Treasure, if you have completed How to Get Plucked.

Where can you find Archaeological Treasures?

In the quest Archaeological Treasure Hunt, 5 per day, and from bosses of level 120 to 130 defeated in dungeons, 1 each time. You need 25.

What resources do you need to protect yourself from the curse?

1 Golden Milk Pearl, 5 Infiniwing Powder and 1 Tot's Ring, obtained in three other quests. Meriana locks them in a bag to bury under the rock in front of her hut at [-6,-3].

How do you beat Mummy Nova?

In a group if possible. She hits the whole team for about 500 per turn, heals up to 1,000 HP and pulls you in when you hit her in a line.

Do you get the Crimson Dofus at the end?

Not yet: it's a trap. The fight that follows is part of the quest Wayward Soul.
