The 7 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Kerub Crepin

   Dialogue[3,-17] · Kerub Crepin

   Tell him you come on behalf of Meriana and that you want a Tot's ring. He sold the last one: he gives you the customer's name, but asks you not to take it from him by force.

   

2. 2Pay a visit to Nanoc Elyod

   [11,-1] · Nanoc Elyod

   Greet him, talk to him about Kerub, then ask him directly for the ring to lift a curse. He admits he lost it gambling against a Sram named Kard.

   

3. 3Question Kard

   Dialogue[-42,-17] · Kard

   At the Sanctuary of a Hundred Detours, ask her the reason for her bad mood, then say you want the ring to lift a curse. She guesses you are looking for Totankama's treasure: the ring is in the hands of a relic smuggler in Srambad.

   

4. 4Order a beer from the Torturer

   [5,2] · Sevrain the Torturer

   Find the portal to Srambad. From the base, go straight ahead to the tavern. Buy a triple beer from Sevrain the Torturer for 1,000 kamas: Abecombe Smisse appears.

5. 5Face Abecombe Smisse

   Combat[5,2] · Abecombe Smisse

   Tell him you want Tot's ring. He demands a Skull and Crossbones to judge your motivation, then admits he has already sold it, without saying to whom: attack him. After the victory, a note reveals that Captain Scarlight has the ring.

   The fight can be done in a group. The quest advances for each character in the fight who talked to Abecombe and chose “Shrug and walk away”.

6. 6Finish Captain Scarlight's Ring
