   On the same map, Gaw tells you about Orichortex, a substance that boosts physical and mental abilities, developed in 644 by the dimensional travelers and the Parafiole corporation. The only subject who withstood it vanished into a portal. The experiments were stopped, but Lebb is said to have continued them in the Xelorium.

3. 3Talk again to Doc Ettem Bworn

   Ask for his opinion: he advises you to meet Vortex to learn more about Orichortex.

4. 4Meet Tessie Hood

   Dialogue[7,-7] · Tessie Hood

   Head to the Uncertain Future area to talk to Tessie Hood.

   Before going in, start The Sands of Time: it also requires doing this dungeon.

5. 5Defeat Vortex

   Combat[7,-7]

   Complete the Eye of Vortex dungeon and defeat Vortex in a single fight.

   Talk to Vortex. As you listen to his story, you realize he is the missing officer that Doctor B'boing told you about.

7. 7Dive into the well of souls

   [7,-7] · God Xelor

   You are teleported in front of the well of souls: move forward to dive in. The God Xelor appears: talk to him. You are not yet ready to learn the truth about the lost ones.

8. 8Pass the message on to Doc Ettem Bworn

   Dialogue[1,6] · Doc Ettem Bworn

   You are sent back to the Xelorium portal map. Return to the outpost to talk to Doc Ettem Bworn. The quest ends.
