What to prepare

2Find Dumsh
Movement
Dumsh always appears in the Bottomless Swamps of Koalak Mountain: the lower area, not to be confused with the Nauseating Swamps. The upper part of the Bottomless Swamps can only be reached from the Nauseating Swamps maps, just above. If a group defeats him without anyone getting him as a follower character (nobody started the quest, or everyone has already completed it), he immediately respawns.
Dumsh is not always present: once defeated, he disappears from the area for several hours before respawning.
-
3Defeat Dumsh
Combat
Dumsh does not have the Invulnerable state, but hit him only with spells. Also avoid Earth and Water, which strengthen or heal him. Each monster accompanying him weakens him: the Swampmates state removes 300 Vitality and 25 Power for each monster with him.
It reduces weapon damage by 20,000: a weapon attack does nothing to him.

4Deliver Dumsh to the Cold Turnkey
Items · Cold Turnkey
After the victory, Dumsh follows you as a follower character, provided you started the quest. Go back to the Vigilante Base: dojo, stairs, door on the right to the wanted notices room, then right again to go down into the prison. Talk to the Cold Turnkey: Dumsh leaves your group and the quest ends. He is then locked under a glass bell, with the other captured wanted targets, some of them in the room on the left.

The fights
Level 60
In the Bottomless Swamps, Koalak Mountain: 4,400 HP, 9 AP and 4 MP, 100% Neutral resistance and 40% Earth. Although nothing indicates it, he cannot be pushed or carried. He mostly hits at a distance with Earth and Water, pulls in a line to his side, strengthens himself in Critical Damage, and removes Power, Range, AP and MP from you, leaves you Weakened and can make you skip your turn.
-
Swampmates
Equivalent of the Ad Hoc Allies state of the other wanted targets: 300 less Vitality and 25 less Power, with no duration limit, for each monster with him. Alone, he has no penalty.
-
Illutation effect
Cast at the very start of the fight. It reduces weapon damage by 20,000. Each Water hit heals him for 100 HP and removes 1% Critical from him for 1 turn. Each Earth hit gives him 5% Fire and Air resistance and 20 Power, and removes 5% Earth and Water resistance from him, for 1 turn.
-
Sludge
Whacks for 120 Earth damage, removes 100 Power (150 on a critical hit) for 2 turns, and Dumsh gains 10 Critical Damage (15) for 2 turns. Up to 10 Range, once per target.
-
Crust
Cross-shaped penalty of size 1, which evolves over 3 turns: when cast, 4 less Range (6 on a critical hit) for 3 turns; the next turn, 4 fewer dodgeable AP (6) and the Weakened state for 2 turns; the turn after, 4 fewer dodgeable MP (6) for 1 turn; finally, you skip your turn. Up to 10 Range, cooldown of 3 turns.
-
Icky Hickey
Whacks for 180 Water damage as life steal and pulls the target to his side. In a line only, up to 6 Range, no line of sight needed, once per target.
-
Tip: never use a weapon
His 20,000 weapon reduction lasts the whole fight: use only spells, otherwise you hit at 0.
-
Tip: avoid Earth and Water
With Water, he loses 1% Critical but heals 100 HP per damage line: not recommended, unless you hit very hard. With Earth, he loses Earth and Water resistance but gains Fire and Air resistance and 20 Power per line: avoid it, especially since he already has 40% Earth resistance.
-
Tip: disenchant Crust
Crust's last penalty makes you skip your turn: quickly dispel the affected character, to remove the first penalties as well as the last. And since the spell hits in a cross of size 1 every 3 turns, don't leave your characters lined up in a cross when he can cast it.
The rewards
XP and 360 Wantoken, according to the game data.
