Quest Entrance to Harebourg's Castle
Wanted: Erotegg
Frigost III Wanted Notices, from level 190: take the notice at the Harebourg castle militia, find Erotegg in the Water Clock Tower and bring him back to Wes of Tubsterville. All the steps, his spells and tips for defeating him from a distance.
What to prepare
Nothing to gather, but you must be able to enter the Water Clock Tower: have done each of the 4 Frigost III dungeons at least once (Sylargh, Nileza, Klime and Missiz Freezz). Bring characters that hit from a distance, with Earth or Air, and at least 6 MP each.
The 5 quest steps

1Start The Whitewalkers
Dialogue · Wes of Tubsterville
To pick up a Frigost III wanted notice, you must have started the quest The Whitewalkers with Wes of Tubsterville. It simply asks you to complete the 6 Frigost III wanted notices.
Dialogue
- “Ask about his role here”
-
2Take the wanted notice
Dialogue
Meet at , to the left of the zaap, and enter the tower: you arrive in the Harebourg castle militia, where 6 posters and signs show the nearby wanted targets. Click the small sign furthest to the right.
Dialogue
- “Head out questing for Erotegg”
-
3Find Erotegg
Movement
Erotegg always appears in the Water Clock Tower area, on Frigost III. To enter, you must have done each of the 4 Frigost III dungeons at least once: Sylargh, Nileza, Klime and Missiz Freezz. If a group defeats him without anyone getting him as a follower character (no one started the quest, or everyone has already completed it), he reappears immediately in the area.
Erotegg is not always there: once defeated, he disappears from the area for several hours before reappearing.
-
4Defeat Erotegg
Combat
Erotegg is not invulnerable, but he reduces melee damage taken by 2,200 for the whole fight: you must hit him from a distance. Your characters play with 2 fewer MP and lose 50% resistance, stackable, with each position swap or teleportation. Nobody can be pushed or pulled. Each monster accompanying him weakens him: the Ad Hoc Allies state removes 2,000 Vitality and 50 Power per monster present with him.
His melee spell, From the Heart, is to be avoided: don't stay on his adjacent cells.

5Deliver Erotegg to Wes of Tubsterville
Items · Wes of Tubsterville
After the victory, Erotegg follows you as a follower character, provided you started the quest. Go back to the front of the Frigost III militia and, outside the tower, talk to Wes of Tubsterville. Erotegg leaves your group and the quest ends: he then appears behind the prison bars, in the basement of the tower, with the other wanted targets you have captured.

The fights
Level 200
In the Water Clock Tower, on Frigost III: 30,000 HP, 10 AP and 7 MP. Resistances (%): 25% Neutral, -15% Earth, 40% Fire, 35% Water, -10% Air. He hits very hard at short range, up to 4 range and in melee, and places a poison at long range, in line without line of sight, that depends on the AP used. He gives MP and Lock to his allies, and removes MP and Power from you, applies erosion and the Gravity state.
-
Ad Hoc Allies
State shared by all wanted targets: 2,000 less Vitality and 50 less Power, with no duration limit, for each monster with him. Alone, he has no penalty.
-
Don't Move
Cast from the start of the fight, with no duration limit, on him, on all monsters and on all your characters: everyone is Unshakable. Erotegg reduces melee damage taken by 2,200. Your characters lose 2 MP and take 50% less resistance, stackable, with each position swap or teleportation.
-
Heart to Heart
Gains 10 MP Parry (15 on a critical hit) for 2 turns each time you try to remove MP from him. On himself, 4-turn cooldown.
-
Flight of the Sinistro
Gives 3 MP and 50 Lock to his allies for 2 turns (3 on a critical hit), in a circle of radius 2. Up to 4 range, 4-turn cooldown.
-
Ball Istic
Whack dealing 500 Earth damage and applies a poison of 151 to 200 Fire damage (201 to 250 on a critical hit), which triggers in 2 or 3 turns, at random. Up to 4 range, once per target.
-
From the Heart
Whack dealing 1300 Fire damage, removes 10 dodgeable MP and 200 Power, and applies 40% erosion (50 on a critical hit) for 1 turn to all characters on his adjacent cells. Dispellable, once per turn.
-
Go Fry an Egg
Poison: each AP used makes you lose 10 HP in Earth (15 on a critical hit) for 2 turns, non-stackable. Applies the Gravity state for 2 turns, and monsters that attack the target heal for 50% of their attack for 2 turns. In line only, from 2 to 14 range, without line of sight, 2-turn cooldown.
-
Tip: watch out for position swaps
Each position swap or teleportation costs 50% resistance, stackable. Beware of the monsters accompanying him: the Bubotron swaps places with a character who hits it from a distance (Bubotwirl), and the Cycloid swaps positions in melee (Cyclopath).
-
Tip: at least 6 MP
With 2 MP removed for the whole fight, bring at least 6 MP per character to keep 4. An Abyssal Dofus gives back one more, making 5.
-
Tip: lock him down
A tank Pandawa can stick to Erotegg to lock him down and stop him from going to your other characters.
-
Tip: kill him first, with Earth and Air
With no invulnerability, he goes down fast if you focus your attacks on him. Favor Earth and Air, his weaknesses: he resists Water and Fire.
-
Tip: only hit from a distance
It reduces melee damage taken by 2,200: even a well-charged Iop's Wrath is almost useless.
-
Tip: stay out of his melee range
He comes into contact with your characters, which is hard to avoid with fewer MP and no way to push him back. Glued to him, you risk no longer being able to flee, push him, or deal damage to him.
-
Tip: a Pandawa for positioning
Nobody can be pushed or pulled, but the Pandawa can carry and throw despite the Unshakable state: it is mainly used to get your allies out of Erotegg's melee range.
-
Tip: dispel From the Heart
Dispel the affected characters as soon as possible, to reduce the erosion taken and give them back their MP and Power.
