What to prepare

Quest Resources, obtained along the way

  • Map fragment of Panthyrozy 1/5 icon1 × Panthyrozy Map Fragment 1/5alternative only: random drop from treasure hunt chests, by trade or at the auction house, like the other four fragments

  • Map fragment of Panthyrozy 3/5 icon1 × Panthyrozy Map Fragment 3/5

The 5 quest steps

  1. 1Take the wanted notice

    Dialogue

Go through the portal to the divine dimension Srambad and head to the Voyager outpost, where there are three wanted notices. Click on Panthyrozy's sign, which is highlighted.

    Dialogue

    1. “Head out questing for Panthyrozy”
  2. 2Find Panthyrozy

    Movement

Panthyrozy always appears in the Shrouded Canals area, in Srambad. She is not always there: once defeated, she disappears for several hours before coming back.

If a group defeats her without anyone getting her as a follower character (quest not started or already completed), she immediately respawns in the area.

  3. 3Alternative: the legendary hunt

    Dialogue

If you can't find her, you can capture her for sure through a legendary treasure hunt. At the Treasure Chest, assemble Panthyrozy's Map at the Desk with the 5 fragments, then start the hunt at the Drafting Table. It works like a standard treasure hunt, with a fight against Panthyrozy at the end.

    Dialogue

    1. “Panthyrozy's Treasure”
    2. “Begin”

All characters in the fight who have the quest obtain the wanted monster as a follower; only the one who started the hunt receives a chest, with hunt rewards and 1 Panthyrozy's Perfume, a unique resource used in a crafting recipe.

  4. 4Defeat Panthyrozy

    Combat

Panthyrozy is not invulnerable, but she greatly reduces the damage taken at range: only hit her in melee. She is always alone in combat, so she has no Ad Hoc Allies penalty. If you started the quest, you then obtain her as a follower.

At the start of each of her turns, she makes characters within 1 cells or less of her Silent for 2 turn, so they can no longer cast spells or use their weapon, and kills summons in that area in one hit.

The fights

Panthyrozy

Panthyrozy

Level 1040

6,000 HP, 10 AP and 7 MP, with no resistance at all. Always alone, she does not have the Ad Hoc Allies state. She hits very hard in Earth in melee, and hard in Fire with a spell that depends on her eroded HP.

  • Repression effect

Cast from the start of the fight, with no time limit. She reduces ranged damage taken by 666, which is 35,298 per hit in practice: at range, you deal no damage. At the start of each of her turns, she makes characters within a radius of 1 around her Silent for 2 turn, a dispellable state, and kills enemy summons in that radius in one hit.

  • Clawvice

Strikes for 800 Earth damage. In melee only, once per target.

  • Undurayting

Strikes the target in Fire for 50% of Panthyrozy's eroded HP, and for 600 Fire damage in a circle of radius 2 around her. Also applies the Undurayting effect: at the start of the target's turn, 600 Fire in a circle of radius 2 around it. In line from 2 to 7 range, without line of sight, 2 times per turn and 1 times per target.

  • Tip: never at range

Her ranged damage reduction lasts the whole fight: only melee hurts her.

  • Tip: move her away before her turn

Even though you must hit her in melee, move her away from your team before her turn: ideally, be more than 8 range away (7 MP plus the range of her melee attack). At the very least, stay more than 2 range away to escape the Silent state.

  • Tip: don't erode her

Undurayting hits for 50% of her eroded HP: avoid erosion so you don't take big, needless damage.

The rewards

According to the game data, the quest rewards experience and 1,080 Wantoken.
