Quest
Wanted: Peter Dougherty
Level 130 wanted notice, to pick up at the Brakmar militia at [-25,33] or the Bonta militia at [-32,-57]: find Peter Dougherty in Terrdala, on Pandala Island, defeat him and deliver him. All the steps and the strategy against his bottles.
What to prepare
Nothing to gather: you only need to be Brakmarian or Bontarian, order 2 or higher, to take the wanted notice.
The 4 quest steps
-
1Take the wanted notice
Dialogue
Go to the wanted room of the militia of your alignment, then click on the highlighted sign. Some notices are in the first room, the others in the neighboring room.
- Brakmarian: Brakmar militia, go up the stairs to the first floor and go straight left
- Bontarian: Bonta militia, go to the top-left room, then to the top room next to the stairs
Dialogue
- “Head out questing for Peter Dougherty”
-
2Locate Peter Dougherty
Movement
Peter Dougherty always appears in the Terrdala area, on Pandala Island. He is not always present: once defeated, he disappears for several hours before coming back.
If a group defeats him without anyone getting him as a follower character, because nobody has the quest in progress or everyone has already completed it, Peter immediately respawns in the area.
-
3Defeat Peter Dougherty
Combat
Attack Peter Dougherty and win the fight. As long as a Bottle of Pandabsinthe is playing near him, he has 95% resistance everywhere: kill each bottle on the very turn it is summoned, or stop it from appearing. See the Fights section.

4Deliver Peter Dougherty to the militia
Items
After the victory, you get Peter Dougherty as a follower character, provided you started the quest. Go back to the wanted room of your militia and talk to Lobo Tommy if you are Brakmarian, or to Fairy Valentine if you are Bontarian. The quest ends: Peter joins the other wanted targets behind bars, in the rooms after the notices.

- Bontarian: Fairy Valentine, in the top room next to the stairs

The fights
Level 130
13,000 HP, 10 AP and 8 MP, 15% resistance in each element. Like all wanted targets, he has the Ad Hoc Allies state: -900 Vitality for each monster with him, no penalty if he is alone. He does not have the Invulnerable state, but the monsters accompanying him place a glyph that gives him one: eliminate them first. He hits with Earth in an area, removes MP and heals his allies. Two ways to handle his bottles: kill them on the turn they are summoned, or stop him from summoning by blocking the 8 cells in his line of sight (4 in melee, 4 diagonally). Against a map edge, only 5 remain to block, with characters or static summons; stay placed like this, even on even turns.
-
Call of the Bottle
Effect cast from the start of the fight: at the start of each of his turns, pulls allies and enemies 4 cells toward him, in a star area of infinite size.
-
Unquenchable Thirst
Summons a Bottle of Pandabsinthe, up to 5 Range, cooldown of 2 turns: on turns 1, 3, 5, etc., if he is not blocked.
-
Bender
Whacks for 250 Earth damage in a cross area of size 1 and removes 2 dodgeable MP for 1 turn, cumulative. Up to 8 Range, 2 times per turn.
-
General Round
Pulls itself onto an enemy and whacks for 150 Earth damage in a circle of radius 2 around the target. On allies, heals them for 100% of their HP in a cross area of size 1. In a line, infinite range, 1 times per turn.
Level 130
Peter's summon: 1,100 HP and 0 MP. Kill it on the turn it is summoned: its effects on Peter last until he plays again, then disappear. If it survives, it reapplies its bonuses on the even turn, and you will never have a turn without resistances.
-
The Night of the Wineau
Automatic at the start of its turn: if Peter is within 10 cells, he gains 80% resistance for 1 turn, cumulative with several bottles, but becomes Gravity, Unmovable and Heavy, and loses 4 MP and 100 Power for 1 turn.
-
Dead to the Worm
Whacks for 100 Fire damage in a circle of radius 2 around it, 1 times per turn.
-
Binge
Pulls allies and enemies 4 cells toward it, in a star area of infinite size, 1 times per turn.
