The room of Colousses's Meowsoleum

A dimension dungeon: a single room, but five waves of monsters, as many as a classic dungeon. Colousses is there from the start, with three monsters at four characters and one more per additional character. Here is the scenery, then the tactical view with the starting cells (blue: you, red: the monsters). Tap an image to enlarge it.

Each wave has as many monsters as fighters. The timeline, at the bottom right, shows the current wave and the number of turns before the next; if you kill a whole wave before that deadline, the next one arrives immediately.

Defeat Colousses

The blow that turns against you

If you hit Colousses while his three fleas don't share the same state, Kissifrotsipik reflects 200% of the damage taken onto the whole team. Never attack him before tuning his fleas.

The four-step strategy against Colousses

Kill each wave quickly. The waves arrive after a few turns anyway: kill the monsters fast enough not to face ten or more at once. Tackle the Geriatick, which flees, and stay out of range of the Itsh's and Colousses's pushes.

Tune the fleas. Lilousun, Lilousun and Liloustu each have state I, II or III. Attack a flea from a cell in contact with it: its state goes up one notch, the other two go down one notch, and you are pushed back 2 cells. Repeat until all three have the same state.

Hit Colousses. Once the fleas are tuned, hit him. At the start of each of his turns, he changes the state of all his fleas: you must tune them again every turn before touching him.

When tuning is impossible. Depending on the states drawn, it is sometimes impossible to tune everything. Wait for the next turn, or hit him with poisons, which are not reflected. Killing him with a single damage line, with an Iop's Wrath for example, also avoids the reflection.

The fleas mechanic

The states cycle in a loop. When hit from a cell in contact with it, not necessarily with a weapon, a flea goes from I to II, from II to III, from III to I; the other two go back one notch, from III to II, from II to I, from I to III. Two fleas can already share the same state at the start.

Colousses takes on the states of his fleas, and only stops reflecting damage when he has just one state left. When the three fleas are tuned, he also casts Coloussion, which removes one turn from ongoing effects.

The monsters of Colousses's Meowsoleum

Five level 102 Ecaflees, with 1,800 HP each and a weakness in a different element. Start with the one that blocks your strategy. The resistances in red are their weaknesses.

In which order to kill the monsters

  1. Bytbul — if your team depends on its mobility: Ectoparasitosis pins you in place.
  2. Geriatick — it steals range and life, flees, and its resistance penalty grows throughout the fight.

Preparing your run through Colousses's Meowsoleum

A hard dungeon for groups of level 100 to 110, in the divine dimension Ecaflipus, that demands playing fast and accurately. You come for Tested and Approved, the achievements and the Colousses Gland: Colousses cannot be captured.

How to enter Colousses's Meowsoleum

The entrance is at Ecaflipus, at the Elevation Stones, at ; the nearest zaap is the Elevation Stones one . Talk to Corporal Tomonte to enter. The key ring doesn't work here: you need a Colousses's Meowsoleum Key, which is consumed, or use automatic group search.

Crafting the Colousses's Meowsoleum Key

It is crafted by a handyman. Palp, Skin, Eye and Leg drop at 34% from the dungeon's Ecaflees, and Don't Push gives 5 Melouse Eye. The Petrified Ecaflee Larva is bought for 1 Orichor from Collector Ikor, in Ecaflipus ; Orichor is earned through quests in the divine dimensions. Grey Sea Bream (fishing), Edelweiss and Rye (harvesting) complete the recipe.

Which team to bring against Colousses

Enough to finish the waves quickly. Five waves in the same room: if you linger, they add up. A team that quickly kills one target after another keeps control of the field.

Poisons or a big hit. Poisons are not reflected by Colousses, and neither is a hit that kills him with a single damage line. Those are your two solutions when his fleas refuse to tune.

Tackling. The Geriatick flees and the Bytbul leaps at you: a character who tackles keeps the former within reach of your hits.

The classes that are comfortable here. The Iop can finish Colousses with a single Wrath, with no reflection. Poison classes hit him without triggering Kissifrotsipik, and those that tackle keep the Geriatick in place.

The five achievements of Colousses's Meowsoleum

Special: Fleefleebag

Each flea must not change state more than once per global turn. Hitting a flea also changes the state of the other two: each hit on one flea counts for all three. Depending on the states drawn, tuning is sometimes impossible without exceeding the limit: wait a turn, finish Colousses with poison, or kill him with a single damage line, for example with an Iop's Wrath.

Blitzkrieg

Any enemy you attack must die before its next turn. Only hit a monster if you can finish it before its turn: the whole team on a single target, then the next one. For Colousses, tune the fleas first and keep enough to kill him right after.

Statue

Each ally must end their turn on the cell where they started it. Anticipate the Itsh's and Colousses's pushes, and keep MP to return to your cell: hitting a flea pushes you back 2 cells. Poisons also let you chip the boss without touching the fleas.

Duo

Two characters maximum, under 30 turns. Finish each wave as soon as possible and avoid unnecessary preparation turns. Everything must be finished by the end of turn 29.
