A dimension dungeon: a single room, but five waves of Xelomorphs, on turns 1, 6, 11, 16 and 21, or earlier if you clear the current wave. The scenery, then the tactical view with the starting cells (blue: you, red: the monsters). Tap an image to enlarge it.

The floor draws a giant clock, with Roman numerals from I to XII: it is on this dial that Fraktal's Aurour turns. Talk to Hyperia Shrik to enter, and again to leave.

Defeat Fraktal

When your hits heal

If the Aurour moves back on the dial, your damage spells heal the enemies, and your allies along the way. Check its direction before each attack, especially when Fraktal passes 50% HP, where the rule reverses.

The four-step strategy against Fraktal

Read the dial. On turn 1, Fraktal summons his Aurour on the I. It moves at the start of each character's turn: clockwise, your hits hurt; counterclockwise, they heal. It all depends on the distance between it and Fraktal.

Above 50%: Fraktal far from it. As long as Fraktal has more than half his HP, keep him more than 4 range from the Aurour: it then advances in the right direction. MP Reduction and pushes help maintain that gap.

The monsters, Bigbit first. The Bigbit kills in melee with Massassin: it must never reach an ally. Kill each wave quickly, then the Segmantid and the Brikablak. Their damage reflections also hit their neighbors, which helps against grouped monsters.

Below 50%: the rule reverses. Past half his HP, Fraktal must be within 4 range of the Aurour for it to advance. Cross that threshold on a turn where you can immediately bring the boss closer to the summon, then finish him.

The Aurour and the dial

At the start of each character's turn, the Aurour advances or moves back depending on Fraktal's position. Above 50% of his HP, it advances if Fraktal is more than 4 range from it, and moves back if he is closer. Below 50%, it's the opposite.

When it moves back, your hit spells become heals, on enemies and allies alike. Before casting your damage spells, always check the distance between it and Fraktal.

Fragmentation and waves

From the start of the fight, each Xelomorph takes 30% less damage and reflects part of the hits received within a radius of 2 cells, onto its own allies included. The fight opens with Fraktal and three monsters at four characters, one more per character beyond that; each wave then has as many monsters as fighters.

The monsters of Fraktal's Megalith

Five level 112 Xelomorphs, all with 2,100 HP, each weak to a different element, at -21%. All of them take 30% less damage and reflect hits around them. The resistances in red are their weaknesses.

In which order to kill the monsters

  1. Bigbit — his Massassin spell kills its target in melee.
  2. Segmantid — each Segmentation erodes you by 20%.
  3. Brikablak — it heals itself and heals anyone who hits the target it has marked.
  4. Elfacet, then Smashlete — MP steals, vulnerability and pushes: annoying, but less dangerous.

Preparing your run through Fraktal's Megalith

A dimension dungeon for teams of level 110 to 120: a single room, five waves, and a dial that can turn your hits into heals. You come for Time Prisoners, for the achievements and for the Fraktal Pixel, which drops at 31%: Fraktal cannot be captured.

How to enter Fraktal's Megalith

The entrance is in the Gonebyways, in the Xelorium dimension, at , at the end of a not-so-obvious path. Talk to Hyperia Shrik to enter. You need a Fraktal's Megalith Key (consumed) or automatic group search: the key ring doesn't work here.

Crafting the Fraktal's Megalith Key

It is crafted by a handyman. Four ingredients drop from the dungeon's Xelomorphs, at 31%: Smashlete Pixel, Bigbit Pixel, Brikablak Pixel and Elfacet Pixel. The Xelomorph Symbol is bought for 1 Orichor from Vertime the Collector ; Perch (fishing), Pandkin Seed and Malt (harvesting) complete the recipe.

Which team to bring against Fraktal

A mix of elements. Each Xelomorph has its weakness at -21%: Air for the Smashlete, Earth for the Elfacet, Fire for the Bigbit, Water for the Segmantid, Neutral for the Brikablak. Switch targets rather than forcing an unfavorable element.

MP removal and positioning. You must keep Fraktal at the right distance from the Aurour and the Bigbit far from your characters: MP removal, pushes and positioning are the whole fight.

The five achievements of Fraktal's Megalith

Each achievement gives 7,160,000 XP and 2 Fraktal Pixel, the Duo doubles the XP. The Xelomorphs' damage reflections complicate Blitzkrieg and the Special: space the monsters apart before hitting.

Special: Clockwise Combat

Enemies must not inflict any damage on other enemies. Each Xelomorph you hit reflects part of the damage around it, onto its allies included. No enemy within 2 range of the monster you hit: space them apart before each attack, especially around the Smashlete and after a Bigbit swap.

Misanthrope

No ally may end their turn next to another ally. Spread your characters around the dial and plan their end-of-turn cell before moving. The Smashlete's pushes and the Bigbit's swaps force you to check positions every turn.

Blitzkrieg

Any enemy you attack must die before the start of its turn. One target per turn, and keep enough to finish it. Don't hit a second target until the first is doomed, which also applies to Fragmentation's reflections onto its neighbors.

Duo

Two characters maximum, under 30 turns. Two characters able to hit the elemental weaknesses and handle positioning. Clear the waves before they arrive naturally to stay under 30 turns.
