Defeat the Itzting

One more Pricky each turn

At the start of each of its turns, the Itzting summons an Itzting's Pricky, up to five on the field. The longer the fight lasts, the more they clutter the map: kill each Pricky as soon as it appears, unless the Itzting can die before playing again.

The four-step strategy against the Itzting

Out of its line of sight. The Itzting doesn't move: hide behind the obstacles and it will only be able to summon, without hitting you. Deal with the monsters from those positions.

Kwakus and Kitsou Nakwatus first. They are the most dangerous. A Fire character melts the Kwakus, at -100% in Fire. The Kitsou Nakwatus gives 2 MP to its allies every 3 turns, Itzting included: one more reason to kill it quickly.

Prickies as you go. To avoid being overloaded, kill Itzting's Prickies as soon as they appear, between two targets. Then finish the other monsters.

The Itzting last. Alone, it can be focused safely: hit it from a distance, never in contact, in Neutral if possible. If you're low on HP, step back behind an obstacle or a summon.

The frozen monsters

The Black Tiwabbitus, the Kitsou Nakwatus and the Kwakus start the fight in an ice block, in the Frozen state, with a threshold at 50% of their HP. Past this threshold, they lose their ice block and change spells: the Kwakus hits harder and boosts its allies, the Kitsou heals while hitting, the Black Tiwabbitus switches places. Once they are worn down, finish them off without delay.

The monsters of the Kwismas Dungeon

Five level 42 monsters, including the Pricky, which the Itzting also summons. Three of them are frozen and change spells at half HP. Fire hurts most of them, the Kwakus most of all. Resistances in red are their weaknesses.

In which order to kill the monsters

  1. Kwakus — the most dangerous along with the Kitsou, and at -100% in Fire.
  2. Kitsou Nakwatus — it gives MP and power to all its allies, Itzting included.
  3. Black Tiwabbitus, then Snowy Tofu — the first steals MP and range, the second teleports among you and removes range.
  4. Pricky — fragile: kill it as soon as it comes out of a Kokasting.

Preparing your run through the Kwismas Dungeon

A medium-difficulty dungeon for level 40 to 50 teams, simple for stronger characters. People come for the Kwismas Island quests, the Itzting Star and the Nice Kwismas Gift from the achievements.

How to enter the Kwismas Dungeon

The entrance is the Kwismas Haven cave, on Kwismas Island, at , in front of Hector Kwismas; the nearest zaap is the one at the Immaculate Heart . You enter with a Kwismas Dungeon Key, the key ring or the group search.

Crafting the Kwismas Dungeon Key

The easiest way is to earn one: Eeny Meeny Miny Moe gives one, as do the Merry Kwismas and Kwismas Preparations quests from Harry Kwismas. Otherwise, it is crafted with a Kwismas Dungeon Key Mould, a Snowflake, Crackler Stones and Wabbit Teeth.

Which team to bring against the Itzting

A Fire character. The Kwakus has -100% in Fire, the Kitsou Nakwatus and the Black Tiwabbitus -10%: a Fire character clears the monsters quickly. Against the Itzting, Neutral is what works.

Play under cover. The Itzting doesn't move: a team that plays behind the obstacles takes almost nothing from it, as long as it doesn't go into contact with it.

The six achievements of the Kwismas Dungeon

The achievements reward 510,000 to 1,530,000 XP and 2 Nice Kwismas Gift each. Chrono and Duo are played with the basic strategy; Blitzkrieg and Special require enough damage to kill the Itzting in one turn.

Chrono

Defeat all the monsters in fewer than 9 turns. Nothing special: the basic strategy, played fast. Kwakus and Kitsou Nakwatus first, the Prickies as they come, then the Itzting.

Impertinence

Allies must end their turn on a cell adjacent to an enemy. You have to be able to withstand the Itzting. Surround a monster, quickly eliminate the other enemies, Itzting included, then finish the surrounded monster. Don't surround the Kwakus, which pushes back.

Blitzkrieg

Any enemy attacked must be finished off before the start of its turn. You need enough damage to kill the Itzting in a single turn: prepare all your boosts before wearing it down.

Special: Picky Pricky

There must be at most one summoned Pricky at the end of the Itzting's turn. Kill the Itzting first. Either you finish it off before it plays again, or you kill the Pricky it has just summoned each turn.

Duo

Two characters maximum, fewer than 20 turns. Nothing special: the basic strategy with two, under cover behind the obstacles, Kwakus and Kitsou Nakwatus first. Everything must be finished by the end of turn 19.
