Dialogue · Jalcas
The quest starts at the Ouginak temple, with Jalcas, following Dark Designs. He thinks Toxine's assassins are Veriun Dead, who can be petrified with Necronyx. He sends you to the Realm of the Gods, where a smith knows how to make weapons from this rock.

2Warn the Voice of the Twelve
Dialogue[0,0] · Voice of the Twelve
Go to your class temple and use your class statue to reach the Realm of the Gods. The Voice of the Twelve asks you to see the smith, so that he forges weapons capable of petrifying the Veriun Dead.
Dialogue

The class statue only leads to the Realm of the Gods after the quest Anger of the Gods.
-

4Go back to see Jalcas
Dialogue · Jalcas
Jalcas received the Necronyx weapons, but fears that the magypuses will be used to break the temples' magic shield. He sends you to ask Mishell how to stop them from absorbing magic, and to collect the scent of a magypus so you can track the Veriun Dead with doggos.
Dialogue
- “Announce that you met the Voice of the Twelve and the smith of the Realm of the Gods”
-
5Question Mishell in Nimaltopia
Dialogue · Mishell
To stop magypuses from absorbing magic, you need to put them to sleep: sprinkle drosey sand on their eyelids while singing a lullaby. For the hunt, she advises you to look for hairs near their burrow.
Dialogue
- “Ask her about the power of magypuses”

6Ask Doktari for sand
Dialogue · Doktari
The animal doctor has drosey sand, but for a magypus it must be mixed with Rainbow Powder, otherwise the animal sneezes. He doesn't have enough left: the hunters use it to camouflage themselves.

Movement
To start the fight, equip the Necronyx Sword in place of your weapon, or have the Necronyx spell, obtained with the quest Fatal Weapon, which lets you keep your usual weapon. Then double-click the Magypus Lullaby in your quest inventory to put the magypus to sleep: you get the spell Magypus Torpor, which disables the invulnerable state for 6 turns.
-
14Defeat the Veriun Dead Assassin
Combat
Talk to the Veriun Dead Assassin and attack him, solo. Cast Magypus Torpor on the Frightened Magypus: the assassin becomes vulnerable for 6 turns. Hit him from a distance, then apply the Necronyx state to him with the Necronyx spell before finishing him off.
Without the Necronyx state, the assassin comes back to life even when killed. The Necronyx spell makes you skip your turn: take a turn of hits, or first set up a poison, a summon or a glyph that will finish him off. While invulnerable, he kills in one hit in melee.
