A long list of ingredients: common resources, which can be bought at the auction house, and five quest resources that require three dungeons and trips to Enurado, Xelorium and Srambad. They all drop at 100%.

The 13 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Brenshi Forgebelly

   Dialogue[0,31] · Brenshi Forgebelly

   The Nimbos is no longer allowed to cook: his last dish, made from resources of the region, made the whole expedition sick. The captain asked Chef Fingachopp to remake an invigorating dish, but the chef forgot the recipe. Brenshi sends you to question him.

   The chef tries to remember the ingredients, but the only thing you really understand is the number 5.

   Brenshi translates: the recipe has 5 ingredients. A fish or something slimy, a fruit or a vegetable, some kind of liquid, something blue, and something the chef finds “good”. Collector Tramshandy keeps the list of ingredients ordered by the outpost.

   Tramshandy gives you the list of ingredients that arrived at the outpost on the day of the infamous dish. Not all of them were in the recipe: you need to gather them all, then find the right ones.

5. 5Gather the common resources

   Items

   Buy 3 Cod, 3 Monkfish, 3 Tench, 5 Strawberry, 5 Cherry, 3 Trechepeira Venom, 3 Twansgenic Cawwot, 2 Zombrute Flesh and 3 Trumperelle Trumpet at the auction house. The 5 Api are also the reward for the repeatable quests Polar Race, Delicatessen or Load the Mule.

6. 6Collect the Putrid Altdemon Water

   Items

   Go to Xelorium, in the second area, Present Day. The 10 Putrid Altdemon Water drop at 100% from Altdemon-type monsters.

7. 7Collect the Tainted Toxoliath Blood

   Combat

   Go to Srambad and defeat the Toxoliath in its dungeon, Toxoliath's Cave. The Tainted Toxoliath Blood drops at 100%.

8. 8Get the Blue Pills

   Items[-7,-6] · Vigora

   In Enurado, in the Eternal Rest area, talk to Vigora. When you explain it's for Fingachopp, she gives you the pills for free.

   Before leaving the dimension, also collect King Nidas's Blue Nose Hair, which is found in Enurado.

11. 11Hand over the ingredients to Chef Fingachopp

    Go back to Osavora and hand the whole list over to the chef. He then asks you which ingredients to put in his pot.

    If no dialogue is offered, you are missing a resource: check your inventory.

12. 12Find the right recipe

    Movement[0,31] · Chef Fingachopp

    Talk to the chef again and choose one ingredient in each of the 5 dialogues. Fish: cod, monkfish or tench. Fruit: api, strawberry or cherry. Dubious liquid: putrid Altdemon water, Trechepeira venom or tainted Toxoliath blood. Blue ingredient: blue pills, twansgenic cawwots or blue nose hair. Ingredient he finds good: Zombrute flesh, Trumperelle trumpet or swollen Protoz'orror nucleus.

    It is semi-random, among 243 combinations. You refuse to taste it: the chef tastes it himself and shows you with his fingers the number of wrong ingredients. Start again, changing your choices until you reach the right recipe: he is then delighted and insists that you taste it. The dish is delicious.

13. 13Go back to Brenshi Forgebelly

    Dialogue[0,31] · Brenshi Forgebelly

    Tell him the dish is really good, despite its appearance. The Nimbos tastes it, agrees with you and goes off to serve the dish to the travelers at the outpost. The quest ends.

By trying again based on the number of wrong ingredients the chef indicates after each attempt. There is one ingredient to choose out of three in each of the 5 dialogues.
