What to prepare

You need an equipped Ellie's Mental Amulet to start the quest, and a friend to help you down the Cania cliff.

The 8 quest steps

1. 1Get an Ellie's Mental Amulet

   Items

   The amulet is bought at the auction house, or crafted with one stone of each element. Each stone is created by merging 4 different fragments of an element at the forgemagus workshop. The fragments drop, with a lot of luck, from Apewicubes: these drop from the monsters of Frigost Village, Permafrost Port, the Icefields, the Lonesome Pine Trails and the Frozen Lake, are sometimes collected from ice blocks in the Royal Pingwin and Tengu Snowfoux dungeons, or are obtained with a Royal Pingwin vibrant feather (quest A Big Cube, a Li'l Cube).

   You must be able to equip the Ellie's Mental Amulet: without it equipped, the quest won't start.

2. 2Show the amulet to Oynop

   Items[-73,-84] · Oynop

   Oynop wants to show you her gratitude for your past help. Show her the amulet: she will help you make it more powerful.

   

3. 3Talk to Jon Burrowman

   Dialogue[-81,-44] · Jon Burrowman

   At the alchemists' workshop, ask Éric for a quadramental breeze potion. He has none and advises you to go see Hel Munster.

4. 4Talk to Hel Munster

   Dialogue[-5,-13] · Hel Munster

   In the Arak-hai Forest, Hel has no potion on him, but explains how to get one: you need a climbing rope and an element flask.

5. 5Prepare the rope and the flask

   Buy or craft 1 Climbing Rope (30 Hemp, 5 Silk String and 1 Nephilady Silk) and 1 Element Flask (10 Silicate and 1 Drinking Water).

6. 6Collect the quadramental breeze

   Items[-25,-27]

   Meet up with a friend in [-22,-27], then cross the maps to the cliff. Place your friend to the left of the small rock sticking out of the ground, stand in front of the wall with the climbing plant and click the plant to go down, with the Climbing Rope in your inventory. At the bottom, stand on the cross drawn on the ground: you get the potion.

7. 7Give the potion to Oynop

   Items[-73,-84] · Oynop

   Go back to see Oynop and give her the potion. The mermaid still asks you for six resources.

8. 8Get the Ellie's Deluxe Mental Amulet

   Items[-73,-84] · Oynop

   Give the resources and your amulet to Oynop. The roll and any exos on your Ellie's Mental Amulet disappear in favor of the new amulet. The quest ends.

Do you need two people for the cliff?

Yes. A friend must stand to the left of the small rock while you go down the climbing plant.

Do you keep the exos of the Ellie's Mental Amulet?

No. The roll and exos disappear: you receive a brand-new Ellie's Deluxe Mental Amulet.
