The 8 quest steps

1. 1Talk to José Bovey

   Dialogue[-69,-42] · José Bovey

   José Bovey tells you that the biggest problem with his Mastogob farm is the ticks. He asks you to find someone on the mainland who can help him.

   

2. 2Consult Oshimo

   [9,21] · Oshimo

   Go see Oshimo at the kennel. He is powerless against the ticks, but advises you to meet Wogew the Hewmit.

3. 3Find Wogew the Hewmit

   Movement[-1,-39] · Wogew the Hewmit

   Meet at [-1,-39] : access to Wogew is a hidden map, at the top left of the map. Go down one floor by the ladder. Wogew agrees to help you if you bring him live ticks and Mastogob blood samples.

   

4. 4Collect the ticks and the Mastogob blood

   Items[-69,-42]

   In the Frigost Icefields, fight the different types of Mastogobs. You need 10 Mastogob Ticks, which drop from all types of Mastogobs, and one blood of each species, at a base rate of 25%.

   The drop does not work in the Royal Mastogob dungeon.

5. 5Give everything to Wogew the Hewmit

   [-1,-39] · Wogew the Hewmit

   Go back to Wogew and give him the blood and the ticks. He finds similarities with ticks collected from wabbits: he entrusts you with an envelope for Otomai.

   Go see Otomai in his tree and give him the envelope: he starts his research.

   Go back to Wogew and tell him that Otomai has started his research.

8. 8Go back to José Bovey

   Dialogue[-69,-42] · José Bovey

   Tell José Bovey that Otomai and Wogew are both working on his tick problem. The quest ends.

Can you get the drop in the Royal Mastogob dungeon?

No. The ticks and the blood do not drop in this dungeon.

Where do you find Otomai?

In his tree, in [-55,15], on Otomai Island. Give him Wogew's envelope.
