What to prepare

Nothing to gather before starting. You will need to collect 20 Crate of Precious Stones across eight Ereboria maps, and 50 kamas can be used to shorten the last trip.

The 13 quest steps

1. 1Come up with a plan with Zippy

   [32,-62] · Zippy Swifoot

   Behind the waterfall, you are in prison with Zippy Swifoot. He finally admits that Malva masterminded everything: she made him believe that a conflict between Ereboria and Albuera would push Berylbell to abandon the expedition. Malva actually wants to take Berylbell's place at the head of the Bitter-Hammers: you must escape to protect her.

2. 2Lift the grate

   [32,-62]

   Put the plan into action: click on the grate of your prison to lift it, while Zippy slides his wooden leg underneath as a wedge.

3. 3Talk to Zippy Swifoot again

   Dialogue[32,-62] · Zippy Swifoot

   The escape succeeds, but Zippy has lost his wooden leg. Malva has surely told Berylbell about you: he advises you to not go back without him. So you need to find him a new leg.

4. 4Get a pickaxe

   Items[32,-65]

   Leave the cave behind the waterfall. At [32,-65], take the pickaxe leaning against a trio of crates: its handle will replace Zippy's wooden leg.

5. 5Give the pickaxe to Zippy

   Items[32,-62] · Zippy Swifoot

   Go back to [32,-62] and go back behind the waterfall. Zippy has not moved: he attaches the handle in place of his leg and can go with you to Berylbell.

6. 6Enter the stronghold with Zippy

   Movement[32,-64] · Paz Thruwall

   Go to the front of the Bitter-Hammers' Stronghold and talk to the guard Paz Thruwall. He takes you to Berylbell, but Malva is already there.

7. 7Listen to Malva, then Zippy

   Dialogue[32,-64]

   Malva Bigpaunch accuses you and Zippy of sabotaging relations between Albuera and Ereboria. Zippy calls her a liar, admits his part and reveals Malva's ambitions. Mad with rage, Malva lunges at him: step in between.

   In a group, take this first choice: the quest updates for everyone and the fight only happens once. To join the fight, you must be at the same quest step or in the dungeon's exit room.

8. 8Defeat Malva Bigpaunch

   Combat[32,-64]

   Stop Malva's murder attempt. The fight can be done in a group: Zippy and two of Berylbell's guards go with you. The Nimbos' spells are detailed on the dungeon page Bitter-Hammers' Stronghold.

9. 9Talk to Berylbell Copperbeard

   Dialogue[32,-64] · Berylbell Copperbeard

   Berylbell reminds the Nimbos of their goal: recovering the stolen treasure during the mourning of the King of Kings Skori. She sentences Malva and Zippy to enter Cire Momore's cavern, without water or food, for 7 days. She also promises the Albuerans double the ore, and you must help with the harvest to make amends.

10. 10Collect 20 Crate of Precious Stones

    Items

    Travel across Ereboria to collect 20 Crate of Precious Stones, promised to Albuera.

11. 11Deliver the crates to Händel Itäll

    On Albuera Island, give the 20 crates to the steward. Pleased with the goods, he keeps them to catalog them and tells you that the Jarl is looking for you.

12. 12Tell the story to Gidrud

    [36,-77] · Gidrud

    Go into the hut and tell Gidrud about your adventure. To her, Cire Momore was only a legend: an animated suit of armor that drains the soul of anyone who touches the treasure. Nascherite, who knows the island like the back of her hand, must know how to get into the cavern.

    

13. 13Question Nascherite

    Dialogue[33,-84] · Nascherite

    Go see Nascherite at the Forgelance temple, tell her what happened and ask about the cavern. She knows how to get in, but thinks you are still not ready enough to come back alive. The quest ends.

    Shortcut: at [37,-77], Hy Hländer teleports you to [34,-83] for 50 kamas. You still need to go left, then up.
