The 6 quest steps

1. 1Talk to the Animal Spirit

   Dialogue[5,11] · Animal Spirit

   The Animal Spirit swallows the apple core and spits out a blue api as good as new. It asks you to face the Sleeping Venerable One in his thicket to force him to eat it. It also warns you about Archatalanta, the gamekeeper, whom it suspects of having poisoned the leader of the oddnivores.

2. 2Enter the Venerable One's Thicket

   Movement[6,9] · Archatalanta

   Go see Archatalanta at [6,9] : give her a Key to the Venerable One's Thicket to enter the dungeon.

3. 3Defeat the Sleeping Venerable One

   Combat[6,9]

   Go through the dungeon The Venerable One's Thicket and defeat the Sleeping Venerable One, its boss.

   Once the dungeon is complete, do not leave: the rest takes place in the boss room.

4. 4Give the apple to the Drowsy Venerable One

   Items · Drowsy Venerable One

   Talk to the Drowsy Venerable One to try to make him swallow the blue api. Archatalanta makes her appearance and stops you. Nothing works: all that is left is to draw your weapon.

   1. “Reply that you only wish to help this poor creature”
   2. “Draw your weapon to get rid of the gamekeeper”

5. 5Defend yourself against the gamekeeper

   Combat

   A fight starts against Archatalanta's Wild Hunters. It can be done in a group. They hit hard from very far away, but need line of sight for all their spells: hide behind obstacles.

6. 6Talk to Archatalanta again

   Dialogue · Archatalanta

   After the fight, talk to Archatalanta again, astonished to see you still alive, and make her understand that Osamodas has tasked you with restoring balance in her dimension. A wind rises, the Arquillon: the presence of the goddess Cra can be felt. The quest ends.

   Do not leave the dungeon: the quest Prey to the Truths continues right there, with the goddess Cra.
