What to prepare

Two resources to gather for the Anti-McSheth Serum, which you craft yourself in an alchemists' workshop. The third ingredient, a blood sample, is obtained along the way.

The 13 quest steps

1. 1Meet Moku

   Dialogue[12,-21] · Moku

   The quest starts in front of the access bridge to Pandala, from Moku. The bridge is in too bad a state because of attacks by aggressive spirits, and the Rotceres are bothering the workers who are repairing it. Moku asks you to teach them a little lesson.

   

2. 2Defeat the Rotceres of the Astrub Quarry

   Combat

   Defeat each Rotcere of the Astrub Quarry 5 times: 5 Hamere, 5 Sherpere, 5 Twelve Fingere and 5 Spadere.

3. 3Go back to see Moku

   Dialogue[12,-21] · Moku

   Moku thanks you: the workers will soon be done. He advises you to get vaccinated against McSheth, an illness that every newcomer to the island risks catching, unlike the Pandawas, who are used to it.

4. 4Ask Ma Cleopatra for a serum

   Dialogue[3,-21] · Ma Cleopatra

   Go see Ma Cleopatra in the dispensary. She assures you the vaccine isn't dangerous, but she is out of stock and sends you to see whether Dragonsly can supply you with some.

5. 5Ask Dragonsly for advice

   Dialogue[3,-21] · Dragonsly

   Leave the dispensary and enter the alchemists' workshop, on the same map. Dragonsly has no dose and sends you back to Ma Cleopatra. Once he realizes his stock is sold out, he offers to have you bring back the ingredients to make a dose of serum.

6. 6Take a blood sample from Het Dawa

   Collect[6,-18] · Het Dawa

   Talk to Het Dawa. He hesitates at first, fearing pain, then agrees to give you a little of his blood once reassured.

7. 7Craft the Anti-McSheth Serum

   Crafting

   Go to an alchemists' workshop and craft 1 Anti-McSheth Serum with 5 Black Gobbly Wool, 50 Nettles and the Het Dawa Blood Sample.

8. 8Get vaccinated by Ma Cleopatra

9. 9Cross Pandala Bridge

   Movement[19,-28]

   Once vaccinated, you can cross the Pandala bridge, which begins at [12,-21], then head to [19,-28].

   

10. 10Talk to Guard Gillpyjiu

    Dialogue[19,-28] · Guard Gillpyjiu

    Guard Gillpyjiu welcomes you. Some people, like the Pandawas, see the island's spirits, and they don't like being ignored: he advises you to open yourself to their perception by drinking a pint of fermented bamboo milk with him.

11. 11Drink the pint

    Use the Pint of Fermented Bamboo Milk from your quest inventory. As soon as you drink it, you pass out and wake up in a room where a spirit is visible.

12. 12Talk to Doukwang

    Dialogue[20,-29] · Doukwang

    Doukwang is a spirit in search of the ultimate liquor. Older than the Goddess Pandawa, he is not a god, for lack of followers. He tells you that the spirits of the Astral Plane have come down to Pandala at the call of the great dragon, and that you will have a role to play.

    

13. 13Leave the room

    Movement[20,-29]

    Leave the room: you find yourself in front of the Pandazaap. The quest ends and the whole island of Pandala is open to you, with its quests.
