1. 1Talk to Gizmond Quelyn

   Gizmond Quelyn has invented an eidolonic generator: it works like the veils, which give you a monster's appearance, but far more effectively. He entrusts it to you to test at three places in Srambad. Take the portal.

2. 2Test the generator in Srambad

   As soon as you arrive on one of these maps, you take the form of a monster from the area. The order given here is the fastest.

   • [6,-1] on a terrace of the Shadowy Heights, you become a Mastaklyr
   • [7,4] in the marketplace, you become an Elsumo
   • [6,8] in the heart of the Catacumbras, you become a Scoliopode

3. 3Show the generator to Sergeant Resaca

   Items[2,2] · Sergeant Resaca

   Bring the device to Sergeant Resaca, as agreed, and show it to him. The device suddenly transforms you into Gein, one of Srambad's wanted bandits.

4. 4Defeat the Bounty Hunter

   Combat[2,2]

   Disguised as Gein, a bounty hunter attacks you.

   The combat can be done with up to 8, but the quest only progresses for the character who starts the combat.

5. 5Give the generator back to Sergeant Resaca

   [2,2] · Sergeant Resaca

   Talk to Sergeant Resaca again in your normal form and give him the device, before it plays another nasty trick on you. The quest ends.
