The 19 quest steps

1. 1Start the quest at the whiteboard

   Dialogue[-11,-37]

   In the second part of the Ankama Offices, click on the whiteboard at the bottom of the room. A note asks you to check on the twenty new Goblins who have settled in Astrub, Amakna and the Trool Fair. Start the quest from the second page of the note. The Goblins can be found in whatever order you want.

2. 2Goblin no. 1: Ronan the Joker

   Dialogue[2,-21] · Ronan the Joker

   Plan for an Apple Core, to be picked up from the trash at Ankama's offices. In Astrub, talk to Ronan the Joker and give him the core to win his favor, then question him. He has to go back to Sakai to find his buddies: convince him that you are his new buddy and that you will come see him if he comes back here every Saturday.

3. 3Goblin no. 2: the Dream Merchant

   Dialogue[-11,-37] · Dream Merchant

   At the Trool Fair, ask the Dream Merchant how long he is staying. His boss decides: he hands you his contract. Consult the Dream Merchant's Contract: it's filler text, but at the end, “read and approved until death do us part”. Talk to him again and announce the length of his commitment.

   Goblin no. 16 is very close, at the Trool Fair: do it at the same time if you have completed The Gob Fair.

4. 4Goblin no. 3: Gobergine

   Dialogue[3,13] · Gobergine

   Plan for 20 Aubergine before going. In the Amakna forest, offer your help to Gobergine: she asks for aubergines. Give her the 20 Aubergine so she stays.

5. 5Goblin no. 4: Gobtuse in the bin

   Dialogue[1,0] · Full Bin

   At the Amakna fountain, talk to the Full Bin on the right: a Goblin is stuck in it. Pull him out, then talk to Gobtuse. He forgives you for a million kamas, but he's a Goblin: offer him ten kamas.

   Even if you answer correctly, you receive one or more Crushing Guilt, of 3,000 pods each. Once Gobtuse is out, talk to him again so he removes them.

6. 6Goblin no. 5: defeat Gobstakl

   Combat[7,-1] · Gobstakl

   At the Kawaii river bridge, Gobstakl blocks the way and won't stop: a fight starts, solo. After the victory, talk to him again and suggest he defend the bridge against vandals rather than hit travelers.

   Gobstakl is invulnerable thanks to the Bridge King buff. To lift the state for 1 turn, you need to tackle him by losing a little AP and MP: 100% escape doesn't work. Aim for at least 90 escape, that is 6 AP and 3 MP lost. Without invulnerability, he gains 2 MP.

7. 7Goblin no. 6: make Gobskure invisible

   Dialogue[6,13] · Gobskure

   At the entrance of the dark dimension, Gobskure wants to steal Obscuranti skin to become invisible. To stop her, go to the Sram temple at [-4,0] and ask Rigal Hookhand to make her invisible, for kamas. Then return to [6,13] : Gobskure is invisible, advise her to settle in the Sram temple.

   Offering less than the asking price kills you on the spot. The price depends on your level: 1,000 kamas from level 1 to 30, 2,000 from 31 to 50, 5,000 from 51 to 70, 10,000 from 71 to 110, 20,000 from 111 to 150, 50,000 from 151 to 199, 100,000 at level 200.

8. 8Goblin no. 7: set Goblik back on the right path

   [14,19] · Goblik

   Goblik has teamed up with bad people: a fight starts, solo. The enemies use Rage (+19 damage for 3 turns), Mass Awkwardness (-2 dodgeable AP for 3 turns), Fraud (300 Air), Pickaxe Blow (500 Neutral at melee range), Hatchet Throwing (200 Earth, -2 dodgeable MP) and Persecution (300 Neutral at melee range). Then talk to Goblik again: advise him to hit the bandits rather than team up with them.

   

9. 9Goblins no. 8, 9 and 10: Kat, Zen and Jammer

   [11,10] · Kat

   Kat wants to leave for Moon Island with her nephews, but she is missing wings and helmets. Offer your help with the idea of weighing them down so the takeoff fails. At a tailor's workshop, craft 3 Weighted Wooden Wings (each: 1 Silk String, 8 Iron, 1 Particle Board) and 3 Weighted Helmet (each: 1 Ancestral Cotton, 1 Worm-Ridden Wood, 4 Iron). Give them to Kat: the cannon fails. Talk to Kat again, all black after the explosion: she stays in Amakna.

   If Kat refuses to talk to you again, change maps and come back.

10. 10Goblin no. 11: help Gobelix

    Combat[10,-15] · Gobelix

    In the Astrub quarry, the sidoas are keeping Gobelix from cutting his menhirs. At [11,-17], ask the Rotcere Boss to stop: a fight starts, solo. After the victory, talk to the Rotcere Boss again, who leaves Gobelix alone, then go back and announce the news to Gobelix.

11. 11Goblin no. 12: save the Mauve Vial

    At the Alchemists' workshop, touch the Mauve Vial: it contains a crushed and liquefied Goblin, which the Otomai Assistant wants to pour down the sink. At [-2,-4], the Assistant agrees to spare him in exchange for two more vials: buy 2 Crystal Alchemical Vial from Dragonsly, at the Astrub alchemists' workshop at [3,-21], for 2,000 kamas, and give them to him. Go back and reassure the Goblin: as a thank-you, the bubble turns you blue.

12. 12Goblin no. 13: get Vitinem adopted

    At the Amakna tailors' workshop, Vitinem looks like an Obvijevan: he is a Goblin transformed into a Lorko Kasko, looking for a lumberjane to adopt him. At [1,-26], in the Astrub forest, ask an Astrub Lumberjane to follow you, then come back to [2,2] introduce her to Vitinem.

13. 13Goblin no. 14: help Gobsequy

    [11,17] · Gobsequy

    Gobsequy can't take any more of the dead rising from their graves. You need to show him how to send them back, in three solo fights, with Gobsequy at your side: he is controllable. Then return to [11,17] congratulate him.

    Gobsequy has Morphallaxe (+50 damage, 100 on a critical hit, for him and his allies for 4 turns), Banjaxe (500 Earth, -1 MP) and Ice Axe (450 Air, -2 dodgeable AP). On the other side: Chafer Slash (330 Earth at melee range), Hel (each MP used makes you lose 6 Air HP), Mjollnir (200 Air and Gravity state), Do Fus Rah! (pushes back, -10 push resistance for 6 turns), Pant Volley (200 Earth) and Camouflage (invisible for 2 turns).

14. 14Goblin no. 15: treat Gobelish

    In Tainela, Gobelish lacks variety: he needs specialties from elsewhere. At [-11,-37], talk to the thirsty Ankamian to enter the Ankabar and buy a Maroilles Cheese Tart and a Welsh from the Ankabarman, 3 Ankama Kama each. Offer them to Gobelish: she stays.

    The Ankabar is only open on Thursdays from 18:00 to 19:00, unless you have completed the “Manage to get into the Ankabar” objective of The Other Side of the Mirror.

15. 15Goblin no. 16: Gobjob's daughter

    Dialogue[-10,-39] · Gobjob

    At the Trool Fair, Gobjob wants his daughter to learn the language of the Sakai Goblins without catching a cold. At Sakai, at [-53,-41], ask Gobilingua for distance courses: he answers in his own language. Buy a patoâ-hpcfmjo Dictionary for 10 Nugget from him, show it to Gobjob as a gift for his daughter, then talk to Gobjob's Daughter.

    You need to have completed The Gob Fair to achieve this objective.

    

16. 16Goblin no. 17: heal the Intoxicated Goblin

    Dialogue[-5,3] · Intoxicated Goblin

    Enter the Gob Akademy dungeon and, in the first room, click on the wardrobe to get to the laboratory. The Intoxicated Goblin needs a remedy. At the Alchemists' workshop at [1,16], buy a Slender Tube from Uba Tesse for 5 kamas, then collect a bubble from the Mauve Vial: you get a Mauve Liquid. Have an Alchemist of level 20 or higher craft a Gobmetic (4 Sage, 1 Mauve Liquid, 1 Umeshushu, 1 Bwork Beer) and bring it back to the Intoxicated Goblin.

17. 17Goblin no. 18: hold back the Lost Leprechaun

    Dialogue[2,-1] · Lost Leprechaun

    First buy a Kronengob from Keg O'Beer, at the Nimbos tavern at [19,-31], for 100 kamas. In the Amakna tavern, bottom-right room, talk to the Lost Leprechaun, who wants to leave, then goes off to the restroom. Laura Soho whispers to you that he needs something stronger, of Nimbos origin. Click on the beer on his table to bring him back and talk to him again: he changes size, and a fight starts, solo. After the fight, he returns to his normal size and stays for a while.

    It has the spells and effects of the Gobrechaun: random effects when hit, dodges melee hits on odd turns, invulnerable at range on even turns. At 1 HP, it summons an invulnerable Cauldron that strengthens it: let yourself be killed then, the quest updates, as against Nascherite in An Unexpected Event.

    

18. 18Goblins no. 19 and 20: the sewer mash

    Combat[4,-6] · Gusta Lavista

    In the kitchens of Amakna Castle, second room on the left, Gusta Lavista asks you to inspect the sewers: the Goblins are preparing a mixture there that could get them fired. In the sewers, at [7,-7] (entrance near the zaap at [7,-4]), click on the rock next to the potatoes: a Goblin Mash appears. The fight is solo.

19. 19Talk to Chef Gobuchon

    After the victory, talk to Chef Gobuchon, who has appeared on the map: since you cleaned up the mash in his place, he won't fire the two Goblins. The quest ends: you receive 25 Ankama Kama and unlock an objective of The Other Side of the Mirror.
