2Find Doctor Gobotnegg
Movement
Doctor Gobotnegg always appears in the Snowy Forest, on Sakai Island. If a group defeats him without anyone obtaining him as a follower character (nobody started the quest, or everyone has already completed it), he immediately respawns in the area.
Doctor Gobotnegg is not always there: once defeated, he disappears from the area for several hours before respawning.

3Defeat Doctor Gobotnegg
Combat
Each monster accompanying him weakens him: the Ad Hoc Allies state removes 1,700 vitality and 50 power per monster present with him. He has no invulnerable state. Remove his MP or lock him to limit his Emerald Ray. His spells and detailed tips are below.
As soon as an Egg of Death appears, do not stay in line with it, or within 4 range or less: it explodes on its second turn and kills all characters within a radius of 4.

4Deliver Doctor Gobotnegg to Peter S. Hilton

After the victory, Doctor Gobotnegg follows you as a follower character, provided you started the quest. Go back to the Frigost Village militia, enter, then go to the right this time to enter the prison. Talk to Peter S. Hilton: the Doctor leaves your group and the quest ends. He then appears behind the bars, with the other captured wanted criminals.

The fights
Level 190
In the Snowy Forest on Sakai Island. He has no invulnerable state. He summons two kinds of bombs, the Unstable Gobshell and the Egg of Death, gives Power to his allies each turn and can make one of them invulnerable. He applies the Unhealable state in an area, with a poison of 15% of your HP. The Egg of Death does not lock; the Unstable Gobshell can be neither pushed nor swapped.

Robotic Spirit
Effect cast from the start of the fight, infinite: each turn, he gives 50 Power to all his allies for 1 turn.

Chaos Goborald
Only in a line, up to 3 range without line of sight, cooldown of 2 turns. Summons an Unstable Gobshell (500 HP, 0 MP) that explodes on its second turn, or when you kill it, in a circle of radius 2: Earth, Water, Fire, Neutral or Air damage, removal of buffs, 50% erosion for 1 turn, 4 MP or 8 range lost for 1 turn, at random.

Egg of Death
Infinite range, cooldown of 6 turns. Summons an invulnerable Egg of Death (5,000 HP, 0 MP) next to one of your characters. With Fatal Attraction, it pulls all enemies in line with it into contact; with Delayed Fatal Explosion, it explodes on its second turn and kills all characters in a circle of radius 4.

Emerald Ray
Only in a line, infinite range, once per turn. Deals 400 Fire damage in a cross of size 3, applies the Unhealable state for 2 turns and a Fire poison of 15% of the target's HP for 2 turns (stackable, dispellable). To avoid it, stay out of his lines: remove his MP, or keep a tank in melee so that he only targets them.

Robotisation
Up to 10 range, once per turn. Makes an ally invulnerable for 1 turn (dispellable) and gives them 100 AP Parry, 100 MP Parry and 300 Damage (400 on a critical hit) for 1 turn.

How to survive the Egg of Death?
Never stay in line with the egg, or within a radius of 4 around it. It pulls characters in line into contact with it, then explodes on its second turn, killing everyone within 4 cells or less.
How to avoid the Unhealable state?
By staying out of Doctor Gobotnegg's lines. His Emerald Ray can only be cast in a line: remove as many of his MP as possible, or have a tank lock him so that he only targets that character.
