2Find Vinnie the Bearbarian
Movement
Vinnie the Bearbarian always appears in the Bearbarian Hive area, on Frigost. He is only found in the hive: don't look for him in Mount Scauldron. He isn't always there: once defeated, he disappears for several hours before coming back.
If a group defeats him without anyone getting him as a follower character (quest not started or already completed), he reappears immediately in the area.
-
3Defeat Vinnie the Bearbarian
Combat
Vinnie the Bearbarian is not invulnerable, but each damage line gives him 30% resistance in the element hit for 2 turns. Hit hard, one line at a time, and debuff him. If you started the quest, you get him as a follower character after the victory.

The fights
Level 190
In the Bearbarian Hive: 29,000 HP, 7 AP and 4 MP. He is never invulnerable. He places a poison that removes AP and MP, applies erosion, gives AP to his allies and heals them for about 2,000 HP. He hits Water at short and long range, and Earth in an area at short range. Once every 3 turns, from 5 to 20 range, he can remove 100 AP and 100 MP for 3 turns: this removal can be dispelled.
-
Ad Hoc Allies
State shared by all wanted targets: 1,700 less Vitality and 50 less Power, with no duration limit, for each monster with him. Alone, he has no penalty.
-
Honey I Shrunk The Kids
Cast from the very start of the fight: he becomes Rooted for the whole fight (neither pushed nor swapped) and the monsters accompanying him gain 1,000 Vitality, with no time limit. Each damage line he takes gives him, for 2 turns, 30% resistance in the element hit and 150 in the linked characteristic: Strength for Earth and Neutral, Chance for Water, Agility for Air, Intelligence for Fire. These bonuses stack and cannot be dispelled. Each debuff spell he takes removes 30% resistance in all elements for 2 turns.
-
Bear Necessities
For each monster you kill while he is alive, he gains 3 AP, with no time limit and stackable.
-
Teddy Bear's Picnic
If you kill him while monsters remain, they are healed to full HP and gain 2 MP, with no time limit.
-
Aggressive Defence
If you try to remove his AP, he reflects 25 damage for 3 turns.
-
Overweight
Against Pandawas: the carrier loses 25% resistance for 2 turns (stackable). A carried monster gains 2 AP, 2 MP and 2 range for 1 turn; a carried character loses 3 MP for 1 turn. Carrying Vinnie the Bearbarian earns you a hit of 300 in Earth.
-
Pancakes with Honey
Hits for 350 Water and places an effect that removes 2 to 3 AP and 2 to 3 MP at the start of each of your turns, for 2 turns. Up to 3 range, 2 times per turn and 1 times per target.
-
Bearbarism
Hits for 350 Earth in a perpendicular line of size 7 and applies 30% erosion (35 on a critical) for 1 turn. Melee only, 1 times per turn.
-
Healing Honey
Heals a monster for about 2,100 HP and gives it 151 to 300 HP restored for 2 turns, stackable. He heals himself for about 500 HP. Up to 9 range, 1 times per turn.
-
Stick With It
Hits for 200 Water and removes 100 AP and 100 MP for 3 turns. From 5 to 20 range, cooldown of 3 turns.
-
Sweet Melody
Gives 4 to 6 AP to its allies in a circle of radius 2, for 3 turns. Up to 10 range, 1 times per turn.
-
Tip: a single big line
Avoid multi-line spells and weapons: the second line hits a Viti already reinforced by 30% in that element. Boost yourself as much as possible and use your biggest hit, because you won't be able to hit him in that element again for 2 turns.
-
Tip: debuff him
Each debuff spell removes 30% resistance from him everywhere. If that spell hits in an element, Viti still gains that element's resistance.
-
Tip: avoid carrying
With a Pandawa, avoid the spells to carry and throw: they weaken your characters and strengthen the monsters.
-
Tip: finish him off at the right time
On his death, he heals all monsters and gives them 2 MP. Finish off an already weakened monster first, or kill Viti first without bothering about the others.
