The Pine Done, a Dofus

This “pine done” is said to be a genuine dragon egg. A Goblin says so, and the game itself has doubts: they'd really have you believe anything. Just in case, it's best to keep the item safe.

It can be equipped at level 180 and only gives 1 Range, but above all it is the first version of the Sylvan Dofus: once you have the Pine Done, the following quests let you evolve it.

The effects

1 Range permanently, unconditionally: your spells with modifiable range reach one cell farther. The Pine Done has no passive.

Its evolved version, the Sylvan Dofus, gives 2 Range and a passive, Country Ranger.

How to get the Pine Done

No quest or achievement gives the Pine Done: it is Goblinecone, a goblin Dofus collector, who entrusts it to you on the Valonia archipelago, after a first conversation with Gobalden in the Gob Akademy.

You must have completed the achievements Six out of Six and The Secret of the Dofus: Prologue, as well as the meta-achievement Heritage of the Broken Island, and have the 6 primordial Dofus in your inventory when you talk to the two goblins.

Heritage of the Broken Island groups the quests of the Valonia archipelago into four achievements: Children Watching Snowflakes (5 quests), Motley Clan (4 quests), Wealth Adviser (3 quests) and The Grande Finale (4 quests).

In total, these prerequisites amount to about 270 quests, and around 369 counting all the alignment quests, give or take one quest. The six primordial Dofus are the Emerald, Crimson, Turquoise, Ocher, Ivory and Ebony Dofus.

First step: go to [-5,3] and defeat Director Grunob in his dungeon, the Gob Akademy. Before leaving the dungeon, talk to Gobalden, who is leafing through a book: choose “Say hello to this Goblin as red as a crayfish”, then “Ask if he is one of Grunob's students”.

A former student turned scribe, Gobalden thinks you are looking for the Dofus: choose “Reveal that you have already found all six Dofus”. He thinks he has seen you before. Explain that you are the reincarnation of a very ancient entity, of which you know little: a text he transcribed would allude to the being you embodied. He dives back into his transcriptions and suggests you come back later.

Second step: head to the Valonia archipelago, at [38,-80], and talk to Goblinecone: “Hi the goblin”. A Dofus Collector like you, he will only show you one of his if you show him yours: “Reveal all six Primordial Dofus to show him you can be trusted”.

Impressed, he asks you to look after one of his most precious Dofus, for fear that the rebels of the Futaie will steal it: “Accept this honor”. You obtain the Pine Done.

Then continue the quests to evolve it into the Sylvan Dofus: getting the Pine Done is one of the objectives of the achievement “Waiting for Spring”, and it is the one you regenerate during the quest Flovoration.

Keep all six Dofus on you

The six primordial Dofus must be in your inventory when you talk to Gobalden, then to Goblinecone: don't leave them in the bank before setting off.

Talk to Gobalden before leaving the Akademy

Gobalden is in the dungeon: once Director Grunob is defeated, talk to him before leaving.

Keep the Pine Done safe

As its description advises, it is best not to part with it: it is the one you will regenerate to obtain the Sylvan Dofus.
