The 6 rooms of the Magik Riktus Big Top
Six maps under the big top, including room 6, the one with Cauldini's performance. Each monster resists 56% in one element and fears two others: bring several elements and hit each one where it is weak. For each room: the scenery, then the tactical view with the starting cells (blue: you, red: the monsters). Tap an image to enlarge it.

Room 6 — Cauldini
Cauldini's performance, with his troupe. Kill the monsters before running after him: the strategy is detailed just below.

Defeat Cauldini
Don't run under Sit
Sit poisons you for 2 turns based on the MP you use, and Cauldini can cast it every turn on several characters. From 5 MP spent, the poison hurts a lot. Under this effect, move as little as possible, teleport or unbewitch yourself.

Fleeing AI, pushback, place swap with anyone in contact with it: it is very hard to block, but not very resistant once caught. Its spells reach 12 cells, so removing range from it is almost useless. It has 20% resistance everywhere, and 0% in Neutral.
SitUp to 12 cells: 2-turn poison that hits for each MP used, and less lock. Can be unbewitched, for example with Bamboo Milk.
VinriktusRemoves 2 MP, then the target swaps places with the nearest ally. Gravity or rooting prevent it.
DetriktusWithout line of sight up to 12 cells: pushes back everyone around the targeted cell by 3 cells.
The four-step strategy against Cauldini
The monsters from turn 1. Ignore Cauldini as long as his monsters are alive: they are dangerous and much easier to kill than he is. Removing MP or range barely helps, they all hit from very far.
The right order. The Dalbweel is a good first target, because it removes 200 power from you. But start with the monster that fears your element, then move on to the Greaseball and the Bozo Jumper. Keep an eye on the MP of each character under Sit.
Anticipate the swaps. At the start of his turn, Cauldini swaps places with a character in contact with him, and Vinriktus makes his target swap with the nearest ally. Position yourself knowing who is going to move, to take advantage of it rather than suffer it.
Cauldini alone. The characters under Sit stay put or teleport; the others chase him, or hit him from afar with their long-range spells. Once caught, he falls quickly.
Take My Place
At the start of each turn, Cauldini swaps places with a single character or summon in contact with him, according to clockwise priority. A character under Gravity or rooted in contact with him takes 180 Fire damage instead, twice if they have both states, and Cauldini then swaps with another one. If all his neighbors are in this state, he doesn't swap.
If it is Cauldini who is under Gravity or rooted, he inflicts these 180 Fire damage on all entities around him, twice if he has both states. So avoid sticking him together with a weighed-down ally.
Vinriktus's swaps
Besides hitting and removing 2 MP, Vinriktus makes the target swap with the ally or summon closest to it, whatever the distance. A target under Gravity or rooted is not swapped, and an ally in that state is skipped in favor of the next one; if they all are, nothing happens.
The monsters of the Magik Riktus Big Top
Five level 82 Magik Riktus, fragile with 1,300 HP, but each with 56% resistance in one element. Choose your target according to your elements, the resistances in red being their weaknesses.
In which order to kill the monsters
- Dalbweel — it poisons you and removes 200 power from you, which reduces all your damage.
- Greaseball, then Bozo Jumper — one places traps that remove AP and MP and weigh you down, the other swaps places and steals your range.

Preparing your run through the Magik Riktus Big Top
A level 80 to 90 dungeon, not very hard without achievements, that rewards multi-element and mobile teams. People come here for The Big Block, A Live Show, the Magik Dust for the alignment quests and Cauldini's soul, with a Soul Stone for Average Souls (captures up to level 100).
How to enter the Magik Riktus Big Top
The entrance is on Caravan Alley, in the Sidimote Moors, at ; the nearest zaap is the one at Caravan Alley . Three ways to open it: a Magik Riktus Big Top Key (consumed), the key ring if it is registered there, or the automatic group search.
Crafting the Magik Riktus Big Top Key
It is made at a Handyman's workshop. Wheel, Knife, Bud, Bomb and Stale Meat drop at 39% from the dungeon's monsters. Kralove (fishing), Freyesque Orchid and Flax (harvesting) complete the recipe.

Which team to bring against Cauldini
Several elements. Each monster has 56% resistance in one element and two weaknesses. With characters of each element, you always kill the right target first.
Mobility without MP. Under Sit, each MP costs HP. Teleportation spells let you chase Cauldini without triggering the poison, and unbewitching removes it.
No range removal. The spells of Cauldini and his troupe reach 12 cells or more: removing range is almost useless. Bet on damage and positioning instead.
The comfortable classes. The Pandawa unbewitches Sit with Bamboo Milk and can carry Cauldini for the Special achievement. Classes that teleport chase Cauldini without spending MP, and long-range classes hit it from afar when it flees.
The six achievements of the Magik Riktus Big Top
Each achievement gives 2,853,000 XP and 2 Cauldini's False Face, Duo doubles the XP; Sidekick gives 4,279,500 XP. Special is the easiest: only Cauldini can move you.

Special: A Turn of Magic
An enemy who moves an ally must be moved in turn by an ally before its next turn. Only Cauldini can move you, along with Detriktus; the Bozo Jumper's swap doesn't count. When he moves an ally, an icon appears above him: move him before his next turn, via a swap, a pull, a push or the Pandawa's carry. Killing him before his turn is also enough. A character who cannot be pushed, unmovable, unshakable, rooted or stuck against a wall triggers nothing.
Impertinence
Each ally must end their turn in contact with an enemy. Keep an enemy reachable for each character when they end their turn. The Greaseball's traps and Detriktus's pushbacks can move you away: keep movement spells to get back into contact. In contact with Cauldini, expect to swap places with him at the start of his turn.
Tight
Each ally must end their turn in contact with another ally. Move the team in small groups and end each turn in contact with an ally. Anticipate Vinriktus's swaps by keeping the characters close enough to re-form the chain right away.
Duo
Two characters at most, under 20 turns. With two, hit the available weaknesses and kill the most exposed monster first. Avoid chase turns under Sit, which cost HP and time. Everything must be finished by the end of turn 19.
Sidekick: Magik Riktus Bandits
Four characters minimum, including a Riktus Swordfighter, archer, brawler or sorceress. The basic strategy applies. Keep the sidekick alive until all the monsters are dead.
