Quests linked to Bherb's Gully
The dungeon quest, Around the Bend, is completed with Silf and then on the exit map: finish the dungeon through its exit. Accept it before entering: a fight won without the quest in progress does not count.
Go through the exit after the fight. Roxy Ring thinks a Dofus is hidden in the Gully: defeat Silf the Greater Bherb in a single fight, discover the Bherb's Gully Exit, then go back and talk to her.

The 5 rooms of Bherb's Gully
Five rooms, including Silf the Greater Bherb's. Almost all the monsters hit in melee: keep your distance. Talk to Rubrat to enter, and again to leave. For each room: the scenery, then the tactical view with the starting cells (blue: you, red: the monsters). Tap an image to enlarge it.
Room 1
Three monsters: the Kilibriss, which jumps everywhere and makes you skip your next turn if it hits you in melee, the Polished Crackler, which only attacks in melee, and the Polished Crackrock, which hits in melee without much strength.

Room 2
A new monster joins in: the Mufafah, which hits in melee and steals life.

Room 3
Two newcomers: the Kido, which hits in melee and pushes back, and the Plain Pikoko, which has lots of MP, hits in melee and runs far away.

Defeat Silf the Greater Bherb
A single element, all the way
Under Hololol, each hit in an element removes 50% of his resistance to that element and adds 50% to the others. Changing element or hitting with a multi-element weapon restores his resistances: choose your element before the fight and don't change it.

200% resistance in every element: he must reach 14 AP to cast Hololol, which makes him vulnerable to a single element for 2 turns. Moderation steals life and swaps places with its target, and Recruitment summons Lesser Bherbs able to fully heal an ally, himself included.

HolololAt 14 AP or more: for 2 turns, each hit in an element removes 50% of his resistance to it and adds 50% to the others.
ModerationLife steal and place swap with its target, up to 6 range.
RecruitmentSummons Lesser Bherbs, up to two per turn, able to fully heal an ally.
The four-step strategy against Silf the Greater Bherb
Monsters and summons first. Start by killing all the monsters with him, then his Lesser Bherbs: they can restore all of Silf's HP. Until he has cast Hololol, hitting him is pointless.
Raise him to 14 AP. He has 8 base AP, and each AP removed from him adds one. Remove AP from him with a Xelor or an AP-removal weapon, or give him some with Devotion, Stimulating Word or High-Energy Shot, up to 14.
Four small hits first. At 14 AP or more, it casts Hololol. Its first four hits taken in your element do nothing to it, while its resistance goes from 200 to 0%: start with cheap spells, like Leek Pie, then bring out your big spells in the same element.
Two turns, then start over. Hololol lasts only 2 turns. If Silf survives, repeat the operation: raise him back to 14 AP and resume in the same element, keeping the Lesser Bherbs dead or far away.
Hololol
Silf only casts Hololol from 14 AP. For 2 turns, each line of damage in an element removes 50% of his resistance to it and adds 50% to the others. Only one element can therefore go down, and a weapon that hits in several elements undoes your efforts.
Hitting Silf without going through Hololol is not impossible, but it is by far the safest technique: his 200% resistance makes almost everything useless.
The Lesser Bherbs
Silf summons them every turn, up to two. Each has 75% resistance in every element, except one, drawn at random, where it has -75%: spot this weakness before hitting. They can restore all of an ally's HP, Silf included: kill them or keep them at a distance.
The monsters of Bherb's Gully
Six Herboreals of level 93 to 98, almost all melee, two of them very mobile. Don't let them reach you. Resistances in red are their weaknesses.
In which order to kill the monsters
- Kilibriss — with its 10 MP, it reaches you quickly and makes you skip your turn.
- Kido — it heals its allies from a distance and pushes back 4 cells.
- Plain Pikoko, then Mufafah — one hits and runs off with its 10 MP, the other steals life and reduces your healing.
- Polished Crackler, then Polished Crackrock — slow and not very dangerous, they are finished last.

Preparing your run through Bherb's Gully
A level 100 to 110 dungeon for teams that know how to manipulate a boss's AP and keep fast monsters at a distance. People come for Around the Bend, for Silf's soul that the Ochre Dofus requires, with a Soul Stone for Big Souls (captures up to level 150), and for the achievements.
How to enter Bherb's Gully
The entrance is on Otomai Island, at ; the nearest zaap is the one in Canopy Village . Talk to Rubrat to enter, and again to leave. Three ways to open it: a Bherb's Gully Key (consumed), the key ring if it is registered there, or automatic group search.
Crafting the Bherb's Gully Key
It is crafted at a handyman's workshop. Five ingredients drop from the dungeon's monsters, at around 34 to 35%: Kido Rear Feather, Mufafah Moustache, Kilibriss Down, Polished Brain Fragment and Dried Meat. Grey Sea Bream (fishing), Rye and Edelweiss (harvesting) complete the recipe.

Which team to bring against Silf the Greater Bherb
Something to play with AP. Silf must reach 14 AP. A Xelor or an AP-removal weapon, or AP gifts like Devotion, Stimulating Word or High-Energy Shot: you need at least one of the two.
A common element and small spells. Hololol only lowers one element. The whole team hits in the same one, with a few cheap spells for the first four hits, and no multi-element weapon.
Play at range. Almost all the monsters hit in melee, and the Kilibriss cancels your turn if it hits you. Keep your distance, and slow down the two monsters with 10 MP.
Classes that are comfortable with it. The Xelor removes AP from Silf and quickly brings him up to 14; classes that give AP, with Devotion, Stimulating Word or High-Energy Shot, do the same job without removal, the only option for Time Flies.
The five achievements of Bherb's Gully
Each achievement gives 5,343,000 XP and 2 Greater Bherb Feather, and Duo doubles the XP. For Time Flies, AP gifts replace removals.

|---|---|---|---|
| Defeat Silf the Greater Bherb in his dungeon by completing the “Duo” challenge. | 20 | 10 686 000 | |

| Defeat Silf the Greater Bherb in this boss's dungeon. | 10 | 5 343 000 |
Special: Lesser and Fewer
Never more than 2 Lesser Bherbs on the field at the start of Silf's turn. Eliminate the Lesser Bherbs as you go as Silf summons them: he can summon up to two per turn. Hit each one in the element where it has -75%.
Time Flies
Do not remove AP from opponents. The removal technique is forbidden: raise Silf to 14 AP with AP gifts, Devotion, Stimulating Word or High-Energy Shot, then hit him in a single element.
First
Silf the Greater Bherb must be finished first. Keep the monsters away without finishing them, prepare Silf's 14 AP, then focus all your damage on him during Hololol.
Duo
Two characters maximum, fewer than 20 turns. Two characters who position and hit fast: prepare Silf's AP without losing turns, and nail your Hololol window on the first try.
