Defeat the Bworkette

Her Bwork Regeneration

Once every 6 turns, Bwork Regeneration restores half of the Bworkette's max HP, or an ally's, in a line up to 7 RNG. Leave her an almost dead Bwork so she wastes it on him, then finish him off: you then have 6 turns to kill her.

The four-step strategy against the Bworkette

The shooters first. Kill the Bwork Magus and Bwork Archer first, the most dangerous in the fight. Meanwhile, keep the Bworkette and the Bwork at a distance: the Bwork is only dangerous in melee.

Spread your characters out. Crossed Word hits in a cross of size 3 and reaches 6 RNG: it hits up to 9 cells from the Bworkette, twice per turn, and heals the monsters caught in the area. Never end up grouped.

Divert the Regeneration. When only the Bwork and the Bworkette remain, and if she hasn't cast Bwork Regeneration yet, leave the Bwork low on HP so she heals him. Then finish him off: the spell doesn't come back for 6 turns.

The Bworkette. Hit her in Water and remove her MP: with only 10 MP dodge, she is very sensitive to it. Not enough damage to kill her in 6 turns? Erode her or reduce her healing before her next Regeneration.

Reduce her healing

Spells that reduce healing received, on the Sadida or the Sacrier, limit her ability to heal, but few classes have them, especially at low level. Erosion is more accessible: the erosion spells of the Iop, Ecaflip or Ouginak lower her maximum vitality, and therefore what Bwork Regeneration restores. This is often necessary in Duo or with little equipment.

The monsters of the Bwork Dungeon

Three level 37 to 42 Bworks, fragile, plus two optional monsters in the jail pit. Kill the shooters above all, the Bwork last. Resistances in red are their weaknesses.

In which order to kill the monsters

  1. Bwork Magus, then Bwork Archer — they hit from range, in an area for the Magus, without line of sight for the Archer.
  2. Bwork — dangerous only in melee: keep it far away, and low on HP to divert the Regeneration.

Preparing your run through the Bwork Dungeon

A level 40 to 50 dungeon for learning to beat a boss that heals. People come for the quests, the Point a Finger emote and the Bworkette's soul, useful for the Ochre Dofus, using a Soul Stone for Small Souls (captures up to level 50).

How to enter the Bwork Dungeon

The entrance is in the Bwork Village, in Amakna, at ; the nearest zaap is the one at the Edge of the Evil Forest . Three ways to open it: a Bwork Dungeon Key (consumed), the key ring if it is registered there, or the automatic group search. The first key is given by Goblins of the Workshop.

Crafting the Bwork Dungeon Key

It is crafted at a handyman. Five ingredients drop from the Bworks, at nearly 50%: Bwork Magus Beard Hair, Bwork Shoulder Pad, Bwork Archer Briefs, Bwork Beer and Tender Meat. Kittenfish, 5-leaf Clover and Oats complete the recipe.

Which team to bring against the Bworkette

At least one Water character. Bworkette resists heavily everywhere except Water (18%). A character hitting with Water shortens the fight considerably; on the other hand, avoid Fire, at 48%.

MP removal. With only 10 MP dodge, the Bworkette is easy to keep at a distance. MP removal protects the team from Crossed Word and Charge.

Erosion or healing reduction. If you can't kill her within the 6 turns that follow a Regeneration, erode her or reduce her healing before she heals again.

The comfortable classes. The erosion of the Iop, Ecaflip or Ouginak and the healing reduction of the Sadida or Sacrier limit the Bworkette's heals. Classes with MP removal keep the Bworkette at a distance. Summoners are less comfortable: Abolition eliminates a summon every 5 turns.

The six achievements of the Bwork Dungeon

Each achievement rewards 510,000 XP and 2 Bworkette Skin, Duo doubles the XP; Sidekick rewards 765,000 XP. Misanthrope doesn't complicate the fight: complete it on your very first run.

Misanthrope

No ally may end their turn next to another ally. Simple, it relies on your vigilance: never end your turn in contact with an ally. Since the challenge overhaul, ending in contact with a summon no longer makes it fail.

First

The Bworkette must be finished off first. You need a lot of damage, ideally in Water: at this level, she won't fall in one turn. Deal her maximum damage on turns 1 and 2, she will probably cast Bwork Regeneration; apply your healing reductions from turn 1. Keep going until she dies while holding the other Bworks at a distance, then finish up at your leisure.

Special: Fallen Under the Spell

Enemies must only be finished off by fighters in the Unhealable state. Only the Bwork Magus's Evil Tofus apply the unhealable state, and only every other turn: with no other means, leave the Bwork Magus alive and kill him last. At high level, some class spells make you unhealable, and the Inferno companion does it with Brawnvil.

Duo

Two characters maximum, fewer than 20 turns. A Water character is recommended to kill the Bworkette in time. Same strategy: all the monsters first, then her. Two poorly equipped level 50 characters will struggle to finish her before the end of turn 19.

Sidekick: The Pandalans

Four characters minimum, including at least one companion among Mirh, Stroy Zemol, Tracon and Logram. A single one of these companions is enough, and two characters with two companions complete the achievement: the second companion can be anyone.

The Point a Finger emote

At the end of the dungeon, you get the Point a Finger emote automatically, with nothing more to do.

The jail pit

The jail, after room 3, hides a pit with a Tamed Trool and, during the invasion of the Low Mountain of the Cracklers, Swimp the Simple. It used to have to be bypassed by yourself; now, clicking on the door is enough to avoid it. You only fall in by clicking on the grate, and the ladder lets you climb back up without fighting.

The Bwork Dungeon as a guild Expedition

The Bwork Dungeon exists as a guild Expedition, probably the hardest one. Bworkette has 13,000 HP there:

  • all enemies have the Tuffguy effect: at each 20% HP lost threshold, they gain resistances and damage specific to each one (melee for the Bwork, ranged for the Archer, power for the Magus, fixed damage and heals for the Bworkette);
  • focus on one monster at a time and avoid area spells, which would boost everyone; one big line of damage or a monster killed in one blow doesn't benefit from Tuffguy;
  • killing a monster gives the Fren? state for 2 turns: strong resistances and an offensive bonus, cumulative, to chain into the next one;
  • Bwork Archer and Bwork Magus first, the Bwork next, the Bworkette last: not very dangerous at full HP, she becomes formidable as she loses health;
  • the enemies have little MP dodge and no push resistance: MP removal, RNG removal and push damage are very effective. An Eliotrope with an Iop's Wrath can kill them in one blow.

Where is the Bwork Dungeon?

In the Bwork Village, in Amakna, at . The nearest zaap is the one at the Edge of the Evil Forest .

What level should you be to do the Bwork Dungeon?

From level 40, comfortably at 50. The Bworkette withstands a lot for her level: Duo takes a bit more.

Which quest should you do in the Bwork Dungeon?

Goblins of the Workshop, at Gobatchef's , gives the key. The Master's Henchmen and, for Bontarians, Rest, but Not Too Much… are completed on the Bworkette.

Which monster should you target first in the Bwork Dungeon?

The Bwork Magus and the Bwork Archer, which hit from range. The Bwork, dangerous only in melee, is killed last before the Bworkette.

How do you stop the Bworkette from healing?

Which element should you use against the Bworkette?

Water, her weakest resistance, at 18%. Avoid Fire, which she resists at 48%.

Do you have to fight the monsters in the pit?

No, click on the jail door: your character avoids the pit. The Tamed Trool and Swimp are only fought if you click on the grate.

Which stone should you use to capture the Bworkette?

One Soul Stone for Small Souls (captures up to level 50). The soul is used for the Ochre Dofus quest.

Can the Bwork Dungeon be done with two characters?

Yes, it's even an achievement: Duo, in fewer than 20 turns. Bring a Water character to take down the Bworkette in time.
