The 22 quest steps

  1. 1Talk to Meriana

    Dialogue · Meriana

The quest starts with Meriana, in the Nauseating Swamps. If you own the six Primordial Dofus and have completed their acquisition quests, she tells you about the power they will bring you. To learn to master it, she sends you to a place where only the holder of the six Dofus can go.

To continue the quest, you must have completed Under the Northern Lights.

  2. 2Ask the Grandapan for permission

    Dialogue · The Grandapan

Head to Pandala at , equip a Panduckler and join the Pandassembly Hall. The game asks you to go see Daimya Hikomi, then The Grandapan: stand on the cell in front of the dais to make The Grandapan appear, and talk to him. He agrees to let you go before the statue of the receptacle of the six Dofus.

    Dialogue

    The Grandapan · [22,-29]
  3. 3Join the receptacle statue

    Movement

Go to and pass under the waterfall: you enter a cave, in front of the receptacle of the six Dofus.

Since Pandala update 2.56, the quests of the But Where Are the Dofus? achievement have been replaced. Even if this achievement seems completed, you must have done The Dofus Receptacle to be able to pass under the waterfall.

  4. 4Brandish the Ivory and Ebony Dofus

In front of the statue, equip the six Primordial Dofus, then brandish the Ivory Dofus and the Ebony Dofus with the attitudes. Then click one of the cells in front of the extinguished fire: the statue should become clickable. Click the dragon of the receptacle to be teleported to the Destiny of the World.

This maneuver does not always work on the first try: with the six Dofus equipped, the Ivory and Ebony brandished, then a click on a cell in front of the extinguished fire ended up making the statue clickable.

  5. 5Talk to the three Norrai

    Dialogue

In the Destiny of the World, go straight ahead then climb the stairs: you are in front of the Norrai. Talk to each of them. Decimandi explains that the six Dofus can summon the Primordial Fire, but that to revive it you must collect the breath of the six dragons. Urdnona also asks you to relight the fire, and Skuldmort already talks to you about your death.

    Dialogue

    1. “Learn more about this place”
  6. 6Receive Aerafal's breath

    Dialogue · Aerafal

On the map before the dungeon entrance, talk to the Updraught then to the Guardian of the Winds to reach Aerafal. Ask him for his breath: he agrees, but warns you about the Primordial Fire, a source of creation and destruction.

  7. 7Receive Ignemikhal's breath

    Dialogue

    1. “Stay put”
    2. “Not flinch”
  8. 8Receive Aguabrial's breath

    Dialogue · Aguabrial

Aguabrial is reached through Girle Pylote. Once you ask for his breath, he throws a tsunami at you.

    • climb the ladder on the tree, go down the second ladder and talk to Girle Pylote, who takes you to the water dragon
    • talk to Aguabrial to get his breath

    2. “Let yourself be overwhelmed”

  9. 9Receive Terrakourial's breath

    Dialogue · Terrakourial.

On Otomai, talk to Tungussi to be transported into Terrakourial's dream. To get past the second room, click the four plants in this order if needed: bottom left, top right, bottom right, top left. Then talk to Terrakourial: he blows a torrent of dust at you.

    Dialogue

    1. “Stay put”
  10. 10Receive Grougalorasalar's breath

    Dialogue · Grougalorasalar

Ask Grougalorasalar for his breath. He is not very keen to help you, but he agrees because rekindling the Primordial Fire could kill you.

    • from Meriana, follow the path down, right, down, down, left, down, left, down, down, right, then take the portal
    • talk to the guide, cross the jungle and talk to Grougalorasalar

    Dialogue

  11. 11Receive Dardondakal's breath

    Dialogue · Dardondakal

Head to the divine dimension Ecaflipus, in front of the Catseye dungeon, and enter the last room: there is no need to redo the dungeon. Dardondakal tells how the Primordial Fire once burned in every living being of the World of Twelve, before Aguabrial's son put it out. He entrusts you with his breath.

    Dialogue

    1. “Stay put”
  12. 12Return to the Destiny of the World

    Movement · Decimandi

With the six breaths, go back to , pass under the waterfall and click the statue to return to the Destiny of the World. Talk to Decimandi: to obtain the power of the six Dofus, you must tame their flames and unite them.

    Dialogue

    1. “Announce that the Primordial Dragons have granted you their breaths”
    2. “Reply that you are ready to take control of the flames”
  13. 13Light the Primordial Fire

A tactical fight starts against the six elemental Fires, solo: you do not lose any hit points in it. The big spheres summon small ones, one per Dofus color. The goal is to place each small sphere on one of the 4 cells of its color's glyph (the crimson sphere on the red glyph, for example). Once on its glyph, a small sphere no longer moves at all.

Moving a small sphere onto a glyph that is not its own kills it. The big sphere resummons it, but takes on a skull state: even if all the spheres end up correctly placed, the fight will be lost. Do not hesitate to bring the spheres back.

  14. 14Steer the spheres with the white glyphs

Your movement spells do not move the spheres: steer them with the white glyphs in your melee range. The top glyph moves them up, the left one to the left, the right one to the right, the bottom one down. Going onto a white glyph removes 100 MP from you for the turn, so only one direction per turn. Each attack line on a big sphere moves all the small ones forward: the one of the same color advances 2 cells, the others 1 cell. You can hit several times in the same turn.

If you start your turn on the glyph from the previous turn, hitting without moving does not work: to repeat the same direction, first go back to the center of the glyph.

  15. 15Speak to the Norrai about the Primordial Fire

    Dialogue

The Primordial Fire now lights up the sanctuary. Talk to the three Norrai: Decimandi, then Skuldmort, then Urdnona. They all ask you to step into the fire, which would make you a god for half a second before destroying you. Your body is drawn toward the fire against your will, but someone steps in and saves you.

    Dialogue

    1. “Talk about the Primordial Fire that now lights up the sanctuary”
    2. “Talk about the Primordial Fire that now lights up the sanctuary”
    3. “Turn to another Norrai in the hope that her speech is different”
    4. “Talk about the Primordial Fire that now lights up the sanctuary”
  16. 16Thank Ratathrosk

    Dialogue · Ratathrosk

You are teleported to Ratathrosk, a grandson of the Great Dragon. Thank him: according to him, the Norrai are dangerous. He offers to have you die to free yourself from destiny, but gives you a chance if you prove to him that you can stand up to the three Norrai.

  17. 17Face Ratathrosk

If you are defeated, go back to the cave at to restart the fight.

  18. 18Talk to Ratathrosk again

    Dialogue · Ratathrosk

Ratathrosk thinks that you may be able, like him, to break free from destiny. There are several paths to get there: Ratathrosk's, and Meriana's.

This step also unlocks the quest Loud Aure Quiet, which lets you get the Silver Dofus Sparkling.

  19. 19Search for Meriana

    Movement · Lired

Go back to the swamps and talk to Lired: the witch has gone to pick plants in the marsh.

  20. 20Defeat the Kerrai with Meriana

    Combat · Meriana

    Dialogue · Meriana

  22. 22Ask Rimanda for advice

    Dialogue · Rimanda

Rimanda has already cut the silver threads to free herself from her destiny. She asks you to do the same, perhaps to follow her path toward a world of redemption rather than destruction. The quest ends: by continuing the conversation, you unlock Armed Against Destiny.
