2Find Dremoan
Movement
Dremoan always appears in the Petrified Forest area, on Frigost. If a group defeats him without anyone getting him as a follower character (no one started the quest, or everyone has already completed it), he reappears immediately in the area.
Dremoan is not always there: once defeated, he disappears from the area for several hours before reappearing.
-
3Alternative: the legendary hunt
Dialogue
If you can't find him, you can capture him for sure with a legendary treasure hunt. At the Treasure Chest, assemble Dremoan's Map at the Desk with the 5 fragments, then start the hunt at the Drafting Table. It works like a classic treasure hunt, with a fight against Dremoan at the end.
Dialogue
- “Dremoan's Treasure”
- “Begin”
In this fight, Dremoan is alone, so no Vitality or Power penalty. All characters in the fight who have the quest get the wanted target as a follower; only the one who started the hunt receives a chest, with hunt rewards and 1 Dremoan Sporm, a unique resource used in crafting.

4Make Dremoan vulnerable
Combat
Dremoan is invulnerable from the start of the fight. He loses this state for the rest of the fight as soon as he turns a Zombie into a Dremoan Sprout. If he has monsters with him, kill one: he resurrects it as a Zombie, then immediately kills it to make a Sprout. If he is alone, cast a summon: he turns it into a Zombie, then into a Sprout.
He cannot turn anything into a Zombie before his turn 3: it is impossible to make him vulnerable earlier. One Sprout is enough: don't kill other monsters and don't cast other summons, otherwise the Sprouts multiply.

5Defeat Dremoan
Combat
Kill Dremoan first, or second if you killed a monster to make him vulnerable. Each monster accompanying him weakens him: the Ad Hoc Allies state removes 1,500 Vitality and 50 Power per monster present with him. If you started the quest, you get him as a follower character after the victory.
When he dies, Dremoan kills all characters within a radius of 3 around him, and each Sprout that dies with him kills those within a radius of 2: move away before finishing him off.

6Deliver Dremoan
Items
The wanted target is delivered to one of two people depending on the time. Talk to the one who is present: you lose your follower and the quest ends. Each delivered wanted target is buried deep in the snow: you won't see him behind bars.
- between 8h and 20h, deliver him to Long John
- between 20h and 8h, deliver him to Baka Laive
Dialogue
- “Deliver Dremoan”
The quest always indicates Long John at . But between 20h and 8h, he is away, at the S.L.I.P. meeting from the quest Hot P.A.N.T.S.: deliver Dremoan to Baka Laive instead.

The fights
Level 180
In the Petrified Forest: 24,000 HP, 13 AP and 5 MP, 0% Fire resistance and heavy resistance in the other elements. He poisons you with Earth life steal throughout the fight, dispels himself every turn (a Pandawa's vulnerability lasts only for the current turn), removes MP, Lock and Flight, and heals himself. On turn 3 and then every 5 turns, he removes 100 MP and applies the Gravity state to all your characters: you don't move on turns 3, 8, 13, etc.
-
Ad Hoc Allies

-
Tip: no summons if he has monsters
He would end up turning them into Zombies and making Sprouts of them. If you summon anyway, a single summon is enough to make him vulnerable.
-
Tip: favor Fire
Dremoan has 0% Fire resistance: characters that hit with Fire kill him faster.

After 4 turns, it can explode if it has a target within a radius of 6: it dispels, hits hard in Neutral from 3 to 6 cells and kills characters 2 cells away or less. It can also heal the monsters for 2,500 HP and Dremoan for 10,000 HP.
